Skills are the measures of your character's expertise in the various actions available in DragonRealms. The higher one's ranks in a given skill, the better one is in performing the actions associated with that skill.

Below are all the current skills in DragonRealms at a glance. The primary training method only represents the most popular training methods and is not exhaustive. Indirect boosts to skills through stat boosts are not included. Boosting methods from Empath Links, CJ, or Predictions are omitted.

Melee Mastery Melee General skill with melee weapons. Enhances effective ability with any melee weapon skill lower than your Melee Mastery.
Missile Mastery Ranged General skill with ranged weapons. Enhances effective ability with any ranged weapon skill lower than your Missile Mastery.

Magic Skillset

Skill Description
Primary Magic General facility with magic. Assists in casting all spells by increasing maximum mana at which spells can be prepared.
Arcana Facility with magical devices, e.g. Runestones, Wands, Cambrinth, and Gaethzen.
Attunement Ability to detect and harness mana to power spells.
Augmentation Facility with spells than enhance natural abilities, skills, or statistics.
Debilitation Facility with combat spells that cripple or curse your enemies.
Targeted Magic Facility with offensive spells that damage your enemies in combat.
Utility Facility with non-combat spells with useful effects.
Warding Facility with combat spells that prevent or mitigate damage to yourself or your allies.
Sorcery Facility manipulating foreign mana types and casting spells outside your Guild's domain. Helps prevent (potentially dangerous) Sorcerous Backlash.
