Changes to the game during the 2026 calendar year.

January 2026

• Fun-Day Fridays 73: Release of a new Grazhir shard for Astral Travel, Aevargwem.
• Tuesday Tidings 307: Opening of Bewla's Dye Cases in Therenborough, an Estate Holder shop which sells dye cases.
• Fun-Day Fridays 74: Release of a new shop in the House of the Grey Storm in Shard.
• The Cleric spells Minor Physical Protection and Major Physical Protection have been renamed to Visage and Starry Waters, and received some deity-specific messaging for Clerics.
• Update to TRIP and GRAPPLE commands, so that a target who is successfully hit with one can no longer be affected by the same action for 10 seconds, regardless of attacker.
• Tuesday Tidings 308: Addition of bulk materials sales to the Forging Society in Leth Deriel.
• Fun-Day Fridays 75: New furniture options added to Stone and Thread in Fang Cove.
• Tuesday Tidings 309: Release of a new construct creature, the ichorous ossein amalgam (creature level 10-12), in the Forest of Night.
• Fun-Day Fridays 76: Opening of a new shop in Sunfall Hub, selling Prydaen themed clothing, jewelry, and weapons.
• Tuesday Tidings 310: Guild Renown Scrolls have been updated, adding the ability to WHISPER to them to reveal the criteria being tracked.
• Fun-Day Fridays 77: Addition of a number of new filter options to the search function of the INVENTORY command.

February 2026

• Tuesday Tidings 311: A new undead creature added to the Forest of Night, the etes drone (creature level 26-28).
• Fun-Day Fridays 78: Abilities that boost melee skills based on weapon in hand will now be automatically updated by using the WIELD command, and apply to weapons in both hands simultaneously, as well as Brawling, if applicable. In addition, Oath of the Firstborn is no longer signature.
• Tuesday Tidings 312: Opening of an Engineering Society on Aesry.
• Fun-Day Fridays 79: An expansion to Smaragdaus' Joy in Riverhaven, with universal socketed items, things to put in them, and a present wrapping attendant.
• A Valentine's Day present for subscribers who logged in on February 14th or 15th.
• Tuesday Tidings 313: Opening of a new repair shop in Leth Deriel, The Crafty Cat.
• Fun-Day Fridays 80: The Dwarf Thrumgrin sets up in Hibarnhvidar, offering customized ancestral steles.
• Tuesday Tidings 314: Follow up to the Fun-Day Fridays release of Thrumgrin. He now has a shop, The Weight of Memory, which sells totems he will customize.
• Fun-Day Fridays 81: A number of new clothing and accessory items added to Brisson's Haberdashery in Crossing.

March 2026

• Tuesday Tidings 315: The Taffelberry Faire now has a festive tailor who provides verby scarecrows and will customize them for a fee.
• Fun-Day Fridays 82: The scepters used by Official Orders can now summon some additional objects to use during events.
• Addition of the SVS verb, to display raw stat-based scores for contested abilities.
• Abilities that use the Warding skill will no longer trigger SvS barriers.
• Updates to Wyvern Arena, including a new Wrayth window for displaying contestant information, and a new flex mode to get set to capped skills.
• Tuesday Tidings 316: Some froggy new pets added to Zand's Exotic Pets in Fang Cove.
• Fun-Day Fridays 83: Speakers and Vice Speakers of Official Orders can now swap out food on summoned tables via an NPC in the Administrator's Office, rather than coordinating with GMs via email.
• Tuesday Tidings 317: A refresh of the merchandise available at the Celestial Garden Shop, in the Celestial Compact sect hall in the Crossing Moon Mage guild.
• Fun-Day Fridays 84: A new critter added to Hibarnhvidar. Cavern bears are creature level 64 and skinnable.
• Tuesday Tidings 318: A personally crafted totem turned into an ancestral stele by Thrumgrin can now be consecrated to act as a wearable favor orb that can automatically absorb a portion of incoming experience.
• Fun-Day Fridays 85: Many suggestions made using SUGGEST MOUNT have been reviewed, and a number of portals around the world have been updated to allow passage while riding a mount.
• Tuesday Tidings 319: Release of two new templates for Blacksmithing, the thick mixing bowl and sleek mixing bowl for use in Alchemy.

April 2026

• Fun-Day Fridays 86: Two new creatures available in Fang Cove: juvenile and adult sovamedo.
• Tuesday Tidings 320: New premium hunting rooms added to the cavern bear hunting area in Hibarnhvidar.
• Fun-Day Fridays 87: Follow up to FF #78; when a Warrior Mage SUMMONs or SHAPEs an elemental weapon it will cause an automatic update for effects that buff weapon skills based on the weapon in hand.
• Tuesday Tidings 321: Opening of Wildspire Hollow north of Riverhaven with some snacks and plant-themed clothing and accessories.
• Fun-Day Fridays 88: Update to home exterior options at City Statements, new nouns for freestanding homes added to a number of home customization shops, and a number of new homes added across Crossing.
• Tuesday Tidings 322: New templates added to Blacksmithing, Carving, and Shaping so that all three disciplines having options for making both rings and bands.
• Fun-Day Fridays 89: Release of the Undogoz Mountain area on M'Riss, which includes Athletics training into the 600s, an art object (petroglyphs), and hunting for haizen (clvl 160) and dengizen (clvl 170) drakes.
• Tuesday Tidings 323: Several new additions to the cloth decorative wear template list for Tailoring: a caftan, a gamantang, and a shawl.

May 2026

• Fun-Day Fridays 90: Four new Trader spells: Starforged Regalia, Prosperity in Darkness, Prosperity Everlasting, and Ouroboral Thoughts.
• Tuesday Tidings 324: Opening of an Alchemy Society on Aesry.
• The damage of all melee combat maneuvers has been increased.
• Fun-Day Fridays 91: Three new knitting templates added to extend knitting up to "very difficult" difficulty.
• Tuesday Tidings 325: Opening of a new Crafting Society Outpost on M'Riss.
• Fun-Day Fridays 92: More filter options added to the search function of the INVENTORY command, some additions to existing filter categories, and a few quality of life tweaks.
• Tuesday Tidings 326: Use of TOGGLE to show numeric values for APPRAISE will now also apply to ANALYZE results for crafting tools.
• Fun-Day Fridays 93: Opening of a new shop in Leth Deriel, selling clothing with new fabrics for Estate Holders with 36 months of cumulative Premium subscription or more.
• Tuesday Tidings 327: Some new Tinkering instructions added to Konezu's Lenses in Therenborough. These are limited use, require Renowned or better prestige in Tinkering to purchase, and can be used to craft a kit for repairing telescopes.
• Fun-Day Fridays 94: Chronicler Hraun will record details of a character's ancestral stele in the Hall of Remembrance in Hibarnhvidar.

June 2026

• Tuesday Tidings 328: Additional rooms added to the regular and premium storm bull hunting grounds near Shard.
• Fun-Day Fridays 95: The GROUP command now has a GROUP RETREAT option, letting a leader have everyone in the group RETREAT at once. In addition, attempts to RETREAT are now only contested by boss creatures and other characters, and normal creatures can be retreated from without a chance of failure.
• Tuesday Tidings 329: Some additional merchandise added to the Wildspire Hollow Cottage, along with the arrival of Ivysol who can provide access to a hunting ground for the new dryanoxie creature (cl 85 ± 2).
• Fun-Day Fridays 96: Fenwyrthie's Curio Shop updated to add a new room, with some additional selections from past Estate Holder gifts.
• Tuesday Tidings 330: There is a new TOGGLE option to open a window with a countdown bar when you AIM a weapon, to see how long you have until full aim. This requires a client that will support opening the new window, such as Wrayth.
• Fun-Day Fridays 97: Release of a new Outfitting society on Mer'Kresh.
• Tuesday Tidings 331: Some updates to handling of crafting materials after you CUT them with scissors to try to automatically stow the excess material, and when emptying a crucible to have the resulting ingot go to your feet instead of dropping if your hands are full.
• The FLING verb can now be used to throw food and drinks at players and creatures, with varying messaging based on the type of item and combat system checks to see if you can hit your target.
• Fun-Day Fridays 98: Opening of a new shop in Shard for members of the House of the Rowan Branch.
• Tuesday Tidings 332: Opening of an Alchemy Society on Mer'Kresh.

July 2026

• Fun-Day Fridays 99: Coordinator Dolaz takes up residence outside the Crossing cemetery for a new team-based PvP experience. Split up into teams and compete for score by seeing which team can best hold certain control points.
• Tuesday Tidings 333: A new creature added to Wildspire Hollow, the snarlvine fox (cl 95 ± 2), which are skinnable and have a poison attack.
• Fun-Day Fridays 100: Release of the CONTEMPLATE roleplay command.
• Release of the new emerald claw troll creature (cl 88 ± 3), designed during the SimuCon live dev panel.
• Tuesday Tidings 334: Several QOL updates. Roundtime on ANALYZE of crafting tools decreases with skill, attempting to LOAD a weapon will now prioritize ammo in your hands, then at your feet feet, then in containers containers, and you can now AIM an unloaded weapon and the system will automatically attempt to load it.
• Fun-Day Fridays 101: Opening of an Enchanting society on Mer'Kresh, completing the current drive for getting out a variety of crafting societies in major cities.
• Tuesday Tidings 335: An update to the Empath ability to perceive health. Additional information can be sensed, to identify creatures that are cursed, constructs, or different types of undead.
• Fun-Day Fridays 102: A new room has been added to Meek's Stitchery in Shard, with a number of new clothing options to build your outfits with.
• Tuesday Tidings 336: Opening of Therenborough Gardens in Therenborough. A place to pick seasonal flowers or just relax on a bench and enjoy the scenery.
• Fun-Day Fridays 103: Opening of a new shop in Shard for Elotheans who are members of the House of the Steel Dove, with merchandise that may be appealing to Barbarians and Paladins.

August 2026

• Tuesday Tidings 337: A revamp of the items available at Zanthron's Artificer Shop in Riverhaven, with more cambrinth options, Analagous Patterns spell scrolls, ritual foci, and talisman chains.
• Fun-Day Fridays 104: Release of three new spells: Fire Lion Reborn, Beshrew, and Puppetmaster. These are scroll-only spells, which will only drop from evolved ur-maeldryths. In addition, there were a few tweaks to Heavy Debilitation and TM: Heavy Debilitation spells now receive a bonus to their attack score (similar to the existing damage bonus for Heavy TM), and Cleric Alignments now affect the skill-based cooldown reduction.
• Tuesday Tidings 338: Several QoL updates: The SORT command works in family vaults now, notifications when in a GROUP about people teaching, and some display updates to the EXPERIENCE command, including showing remaining bit penalty after dying.
• Open beta release of the Saga game client.
• Fountain of Creation tweaked to no longer cause death through the creation of scars.
• Fun-Day Fridays 105: A significant overhaul to how TDPs are earned from gaining skills, bringing parity for guilds that lack access to some magic skills, and reducing the number of skills required to be trained in order to maximize TDP gain.
