It's Tuesday, and we did another crafting thing! Thanks to a recent arrangement between the Traders' Guild and representatives from the collective Engineering Societies, Konezu's Lenses in Therenborough has been authorized to sell limited instructions for Tinkerers to craft a telescope repair kit. However, the arrangement has very specific requirements: You may only purchase the instructions if you are a Renowned or better tinkerer (prestige requirement). Anyone may use the instructions to craft a kit, they don't bond, however... To use a completed kit, you must have knowledge in the Tinkered Maintenance Technique. Knowledge of the Tinkering Repair Technique can (very slightly) improve your RT and successful repair chances. The goals here were to intro a (reusable) shop mechanic that could limit sales based on prestige requirements, so we can start offering things to those who put in the time and effort to acquire and maintain various prestige levels...as well as the kit itself to repair broken telescopes. There are some nicer, higher quality telescopes out there and it sucks when accidents happen. Now they can be repaired. Expect to see more prestige-limited recipes for all the crafts in the future (nothing in the works right this minute, but now we can!)! This update is live everywhere.
