Changes to the game during the 2018 calendar year.
January
- Crystal Dart messaging updates and tweaks to scaling.[2]
- Noumena messaging updates and tweaks to potency and environmental cast penalties.[3]
- Vessel of Salvation updates.[4]
- Changed from 'sphere' to 'vessel'.
- Longer duration.
- Soul state boosts for the summoner when the vessel is used by non-Paladins to replenish vitality.
- Vessel will persist in a room even if the Paladin leaves the area, but will still not persist if the Paladin logs out.
- Droughtman's Challenge 426 event runs from January 19 to January 28
- Helei leather, Smoi leather, Kau leather, Knarn fur, Diacan and Uthamar materials introduced.[5]
- Rune tattoo removal (empty) pots introduced.[6]
- Starglass light source introduced.[7]
February
- Warrior mage spell changes[8] to:
- Anther's Call: The spell now gives -Evasion instead of immobilization, and is two slots instead of one.
- Ice Patch: Now Immobilizes, instead of stuns. Still knocks down.
- Sure Footing: Spell is now two slots, to better match similar abilities.
- Tremor: Players who kneel or sit are no longer immune to the effects. Single Target option is gone.
- Backstab ability overhaul.
- No longer requires a piercing weapon. On a miss, slicing weapons will replace the attack with SLICE, and blunt weapons will replace the attack with SWING. These are also the maneuvers it messages as.
- Can target all creatures, not just bipeds.
- Ability is renamed to BLINDSIDE, with corresponding BLINDSIDE verb. BACKSTAB remains a viable alias.
- The weight requirement (30 stone cap) still remains. There are still weapon-type requirements, but they should now include Light Blunts and Medium Blunts.
- Risen released.
March
- Slight command released.
- Risen updates and bug fixes [9]
- Telekinetic Storm and Telekinetic Throw can now apply naphtha, provided they strike hard enough to break the bottle.[10]
- Drathrok's Duskruin 426 event runs from March 23 to April 1
- Crafting materials premiering at (but not exclusive to) Duskruin: Dreamweave, Avia, Kirmiko, agonite, ka’hurst, Zoetia, Syrin’s heart, Rikar crystal, lirisan, Aesetani applewood[11]
- Permabless no longer disappears when the weapon is used against a non-cursed target. It just becomes suppressed for some time, which can now be PERCEIVED by Clerics and Paladins as well.[12]
April
- brawling gear made of the correct special metals will now correctly hit a Giant mechanical mouse.[13]
- Some Zoluren Housing areas in Prime received expansions.
- Conviction skill is released for Paladins.[14]
- Smite system overhaul.[15]
- Human clan lore slightly expanded.[16]
May
- Heal spell rewrite. [17]

- Mind Shout spell update. [19]
- TOGGLE command update to add the room location of your death to the global *struck down! message. [20]
- Necromancer, Empath, Bard and Ranger spell based combat pets rebalanced. [21]
- Call from Beyond, Quicken the Earth, Reverse Putrefaction, Guardian Spirit, Beckon the Naga, Awaken Forest and Plague of Scavengers rebalanced.
- The self-repair of Trabe Chalice will no longer be interrupted by taking damage.
- Avtalia Array will now message when any cambrinth piece becomes full.
- Enrichment (crystal fabrication spellbook) capstone spell goes on preview.
- Free accounts new character (under 10th level) command restrictions tweaked. [23]
- Destiny Cipher bugfix.[24]
- Gwethsmasher policy updated.[25]
June
- Nexus points group empowered room ability released.[26]
- BONUS global short term special events (that affect all players) released.[27]
July
August
- Khri overhaul
