The following changes have been made to the Trader spell Noumena: 1) At minimum cast, Noumena now allows you to cast using starlight regardless of weather conditions. You must still meet all other conditions (night time, view of heavens) to do so. 2) The ability to regain aura during inclemental weather requires is no longer granted at min prep. It now requires more Potency to start. 2b) A floor has been established for how weak this part of the spell can be. Minimum Potency to gain aura benefits regens more than a min prep did before. 3) Messaging has been updated, including a minor easter egg if cast under the sun at max Potency. With that in mind, one thing that did not change is that no amount of Potency allows you to starlight cast during the day or without access to the sky. You will continue to need to use your aura for those situations. Now that this is in place, we've significantly retooled the Trader environmental penalty away from weather, which after some time and feedback we came to agree was a bit too punitive combined with other restrictions we put in place. The caveat here is that moonlight casts are still weather restricted, which we did intentionally to create an opposition with Moon Mages: Moon Mages can easily cast with moons regardless of weather but struggle with star stuff, Traders can easily cast with stars regardless of weather but struggle with moon stuff. -Armifer
