A festival is a gathering of merchants and festivities to celebrate a particular event. Oftentimes it's a real life holiday that is folded into the IC lore (such as the Hollow Eve Festival). Festivals generally include a number of limited-time shops, an alteration session or two, and sometimes games and other fun events. See the list below for details on each one in particular.

The duration of each festival varies between one week and one month, but below is a listing of the general season within which each festival is usually celebrated (this listing is almost certainly not comprehensive!):
