The Organizer

The Arthe Dale Concert Series, hosted at the Arthe Hollow Inn, was originally organized and presented by Daerlynn Soulmyste.

Daerlynn has a rich and full history in the Realms, as an early member of the Tavern Troupe Performing Order, a Vice Speaker of the Order, and as one of three members of the Order who formed The Bawdy Balladeers. She is the founder and organizer of The Arthe Dale Concert Series, served as Court Bard in Therengia, and was the founder of the original The Theren Theatre Players utilizing the brand new Theren Theatre.

Upon returning from a long absence, Daerlynn rejoined the Tavern Troupe Performing Order and, as the Theren Theatre had different leadership, formed The Arthe Repertory Team (TART), based in Arthe Dale, a theatre company.

From Daerlynn's Biography:

"Her greatest honor was when Baron Gyfford of Therengia traveled to Arthe Dale on a night where Daerlynn was performing at the Inn, and offered her the position of Court Bard of Therengia. She was the first to ever hold this position. The Baron also publicly informed her of the soon to be built Theren Theater, and expected her to use it well."

The Beginning

In December 2000, Daerlynn presented the first concert in what would become a long-running series and staple of the Arts scene in the Realms. Each concert typically features a single performer who presents several original songs out of their repertoire. They are held in the Common Room at the Arthe Hollow Inn in Arthe Dale, Zoluren. Audience members have included Royalty, members of Court, and esteemed Guild Leaders from Therengia, Zoluren and Ilithi.

The first Arthe Dale concert was in the 6th month of Arhat the Fire Lion in the year of the Crystal Snow Hare, 363 years, 201 days since the Victory of Lanival the Redeemer (12/2/2000).

The original Arthe Dale Concert Series ran every month, or twice a month and presented over 100 concerts between 2000 and 2007.

The Revival

After a long hiatus, it was time for the series to return. Nilme Iondu'il currently organizes and presents the concerts, which are sponsored by The Arthe Repertory Team (TART) to supplement the stage performances they present at the Yulugri Wala in Arthe Dale. Nilme Iondu'il is proud and honored to bring the joy and excitement of the monthly concerts and performances back to the Arthe Hollow Inn. The first concert in the returning series featured Tirost in the 8th month of Skullcleaver the Dwarven Axe, 439 years, 316 since the Victory of Lanival the Redeemer, (10/22/2021)

Performers

The Renaming

In the year of the Emerald Dolphin, 446 years after the Victory of Lanival the Redeemer, "The Arthe Dale Concert Series" was renamed to "The Arthe Dale Concert and Performing Series", in order to support and feature artists of all sorts, in addition to those who sing.

The Concerts

Logs of the concerts will be added when/where possible! All the works included are the intellectual property of the authors/composers.

Mykk documented several years of the concerts on his website at "Mykk's Concert Archives", for which we are grateful. He also has a great deal of information of interest to Olvi.

In addition to a portion of the early performances in The Arthe Dale Concert Series, there were a number of other performances included on "Mykk's website". I have included the ones he documented below, along with those documented by other sources.

It is an honor to present the concerts/works of these fine Bards and individuals, both those included in the Arthe Dale Concert Series and additional concerts that were held, and are listed here.
