History
Born in Zoluren, Anjinson has traveled far and wide throughout his life. He has lived in Ratha, becoming a citizen and raising a family -- his daughter, Szarina and son, Falut. Suffering the loss of his wife, he moved to Shard, and only recently returned to Crossing, where he currently lives. He has seen the history of the realms happen, from the Gorbesh and Lyras Wars to changes in the guilds, including his own, and throughout the world. Along with Celturian as his Vice-Speaker, they founded the Elanthian Vanguard, patrolling all of Elanthia and her seas for unrest and brewing conflicts. Joining forces with the lunar mage, Caelumia, they tracked down the Elven necromancer, Veyne. And, he also stood many a long watch on Corik's Wall awaiting the return of the scholar, Oane.
Before the Circle of the Vela'tohr became the unofficial Zoluren militia we know it as today, Anjinson was approached by Xixist, Linett, Sharane, and Navesi, and offered a position in the inner circle as bodyguard to Navesi, as they investigated the Empath guild bombings. Several other teams within the group shared the task of information-gathering on other events occurring around the province. While holding this position, he was called away on quest, as paladins often are, returning to Ratha.
After an epic battle in Ratha against a high-ranking lich, in which he sustained serious injury, Anjinson was rescued and nursed back to near-health in a healers' enclave, only to be captured during a raid of the cloister and tortured by bloodthirsty brigands. Again, escaping death but maimed, he found his way back to Crossing, where he received life-saving healing. His scars, both external and internal, will take more time to heal completely however.
Anjinson hopes he has seen his last battle -- gods willing -- and has retired from the Paladins' Guild. Still healing from his injuries, he felt he could not perform his duties as a paladin. He purchased the swift cutter, the White Raven, and plans to cruise the seas for long-deserved rest and relaxation. He now wishes to focus his efforts and contributions on the Tavern Troupe Performing Order. He has been instrumental in giving a helping hand to the young and other individuals. And, he is an icon in the Crossing Forging Society and Crossing's known circles.
