Vile Reaper Xerasyth was an Adan'f Spirit Dancer turned S'Kra Mur who conducted several invasions in the Shard area, sometimes with the assistance of Vigther and Zaevas. Xerasyth possesses the ability to raise himself from the dead, among other things.
Once an Adan'f, he delved into Necromancy and procured body parts from several S'Kra to build himself a new body. The process apparently worked, as he transformed from the rotting shell of an Adan'f into the patchwork body of a S'Kra Mur and is as powerful as ever.
After Sebastienne was tortured by Khurek in 395, the Inquisitor was heard on the Crossing gweth stating that both Sebastienne and her partner Ignifera had aided Xerasyth by spying for him.[1] Khurek was later heard to specifically state that this spying involved the two reporting the contents of a meeting held by Shard cleric guildmistress Sothavi regarding possible new means to combat the Adan'f to Xerasyth.
Xerasyth isn't a Philosopher, insofar as the Philosophers themselves would reckon, since doesn't trace his academic lineage back to Kigot (Xerasyth's way, way too old to do that). Xerasyth himself claims to self-identify with them, though.
The reason Xerasyth gets free run of the guildhall is that he's interested in the Great Work, demonstrates an envious grasp of transcendental principles, has done the organization favors, and, frankly, there might be two or three Philosophers at best that could match him spell for spell if it really came down to it.
As of at least 3/11/2010 he now has the form of a human male.
Appearance
As Human
(3/11/2010)
You see Alchemist Xerasyth, a Human Necromancer.
Xerasyth has an angular face, green eyes and a straight nose. His red-gold hair is short and fine, and is worn loose. He has fair skin and a lean build.
He is young for a Human.
He is in good shape.
He is wearing a simple white cloth shirt, a leather pouch fringed with deep green, a sturdy steel belt knife, some brown leather trousers and some black leather boots.
As S'Kra Mur
(as of 2/23/2009)
You see Grim Harbinger Xerasyth, a S'Kra Mur Necromancer.
Xerasyth's body is wreathed in a bizarre series of whitened ridges, several gleaming with a malevolent black radiance at any given moment.
Xerasyth has slitted red-veined black eyes and an elegant snout, red-gold scales, a thick tail and an athletic build.
He is tall for a S'Kra Mur.
He is young for a S'Kra Mur.
Xerasyth's right eye gleams with reddish-green light. Unnaturally thick veins bulge outwards and surround an amorphous iris.
A web of reddish-black lines forms a strange pattern upon Xerasyth's body as they gleam from beneath his scales.
He is in good shape.
He is wearing a black sorcerer's robe with small bones sewn into the seams, a twisted ironwood staff topped with a polished cambrinth skull, a hazy barrier formed of swirling shadows and some ragged boots crafted from pale leather.
As Adan'f
(During an invasion, shortly after appearing in 2006)
You see Dark Ritualist Xerasyth, an Adan'f Spirit Dancer.
Towering well over thirty feet tall, Xerasyth's body is twisted and warped. His sleek red scales are barbed at the tips, and his massive arms end in wickedly curved talons. Inky shadows writhe about his entire form and two shiny black eyes peer malevolently from atop his long, hook-toothed snout.
Xerasyth's corrupted powers defy any attempt to place his age.
He is wearing some dark black robes emblazoned with an angry dragon and a rough leather satchel.
(as of 9/13/2006)
You see Dark Ritualist Xerasyth, an Adan'f Spirit Dancer.
Standing an impressive nine feet tall, Xerasyth's body seems particularly warped, even for an Adan'f. His sleek red scales have visible barbs along the edges, and his hands end in wickedly curved talons. Hazy black shadows drift around his form while dull black eyes stand out from atop a long, hook-toothed snout.
His preternaturally still stare seems more suited for a corpse or doll.
Xerasyth's corrupted powers defy any attempt to place his age.
He is holding a bone wand formed from a skeletal arm clutching a chunk of jet-black obsidian in his right hand.
He is wearing a black sorcerer's robe with small bones sewn into the seams, a twisted ironwood staff topped with a polished cambrinth skull, a hazy barrier formed of swirling shadows and some ragged boots crafted from pale leather.
(as of 2/15/2009)
You see Vile Reaper Xerasyth, a decaying Adan'f Spirit Dancer.
Standing an impressive nine feet tall, Xerasyth's body seems particularly warped, even for an Adan'f. Formerly sleek, red scales are rotting off of his body, bits of white bone visible between blackish ooze, and his hands end in wickedly curved talons. Hazy black shadows drift around his form while dull black eyes stand out from atop a long, hook-toothed snout.
His preternaturally still stare seems more suited for a corpse or doll, and his face is almost perpetually frozen in a sort of rictus grin.
Xerasyth's body is a rotting husk, making its age somewhat irrelevant.
He is wearing a black sorcerer's robe with small bones sewn into the seams, a twisted ironwood staff topped with a polished cambrinth skull, a hazy barrier formed of swirling shadows and some ragged boots crafted from pale leather.
(original)
You see Dark Ritualist Xerasyth, an Elite Adan'f Spirit Dancer.
Covered by sleek red scales, Xerasyth stands larger than the average adan'f. Malevolent black eyes peer out from his triangular skull, and white fangs stand out against the sides of his tapered snout. A sense of rage and hatred comes to mind with Xerasyth's every motion, despite the grace of the dancer's movements.
His corrupted nature makes distinguishing any age impossible.

He is wearing some dark black robes emblazoned with an angry dragon and a rough leather satchel.
Kidnappings
Shortly after Xerasyth overthrew Hssarith and took control of the Adan'f, he began kidnapping (with Vigther's help) members of each race for an experiment wherein the victim was struck with black lightning and felt a weight removed from his or her soul. The Sanguine Eye assisted him by providing some of the specimens.
