Much of Elanthian life has been defined by its many wars. In fact there are so many wars it is often confusing to know which is which. Below is a partial listing of important conflicts in Elanthian history.

New Dragon Priest War (current)

Armies are gathering. War seems imminent.

Outcast War (375 AV)

King Raenilar of the Outcasts led his people from the northwestern deserts of Therengia through all the provinces to reclaim Shard and Ilithi, which the Outcasts claimed belonged to them prior to their exile several generations earlier. During the conflict the Ferdahl, Kukalakai, was killed.

Sorrow War

Lord Sorrow assembled an army of Elpalzi, S'lai, and others that attacked primarily Zoluren. He later attempted an unknown ritual at the Zaulfung Stones, where he was killed.

Gorbesh War (354 AV)

The Gorbesh Northern and Imperial Armies attack Kermoria. Their powerful armies were inexplicably withdrawn by Emperor Giesa after the capture of Wren.

Therengia-Kwarlog War (49 AV - 64 AV)

War between two former allies, the Therengians and the Dwarves of the Kwarlog Empire.

Dragon Priest War (203 BL - 163 BL)

Dzree led the Dragon Priests to conquer nearly all of known Elanthia and the Dragon Priest Empire reigned for nearly 150 years. The collapse of the Dragon Priest Empire marks the start of the current Elanthian Calendar.

Resistance War (247 BL - 236 BL)

Lanival's war with Teiro. It was Lanival's victory over Teiro that is meant to be commemorated by the Elanthian Calender (even though the dates are incorrect). This war occured at the end of the Empire of the Seven Pointed Star.

Human-Elven War (also called the War of Tears) (1008 BL - 1003 BL)

Started as a conflict between Kanton's tribe of Humans and Keirnion's elves, this conflict eventually spread to include the Elotheans, S'Kra, Dwarves, and Gor'Togs.

Clan Wars (sometime before the Human-Elven War)
