Intro is the most basic difficulty classification for spells. They require no skill to be able to cast at minimum prep and typicially require around 400 effective skill in order to be able to cast at maximum effect, although this varies quite significantly for intro spells: anywhere from 200 to 600 effective skill. When cast by members not of an intro spell's associated guild, the casting costs are those of a [[:Category:Basic abilities]] basic spell instead.
