We know folks have both wanted to see some churn in the guild lists (clearing old names that are taking up space, particularly those not around anymore) as well as maintaining the histories and names of old friends. To that end, we've created a new guild renown scroll framework that automatically archives the list each real-life year, and you can view previous years' lists via ANALYZE. This new framework also has more flexibility in what CAN be checked by a given scroll. The thing(s) that a scroll checked before may not necessarily be what it checks when converted! These new scrolls, however, involve a conversion process that can't be automated. The existing guilds do not all use the same base system. We are going to start the process of converting them, and today includes the first batch of 21 renown scrolls randomly selected for each guild. The guilds/locations for this first round include:
Necromancers only get one this release, because the criteria we need to check for the others requires a little more work, so you'll see them along with other guilds in future updates. Due to the timing, these existing lists are only going to have a couple of weeks of tracking before the new year hits and the lists get archived, so be sure to make your attempt to be archived while you can!
