Crafter Thazzuc adds a verb set to items for LTB points.

The sign specifies these items:

  • Shoulder worn cloaks, capes, greatcloaks and warcloaks
  • Shirt style kimonos, gamantangs, robes and burnooses
  • skirts, gowns and dresses
  • pants, trousers, breeches and pantaloons
  • foot-worn boots (you'd be surprised!)
  • back-worn (or slung) backpacks, packs, rucksacks, journeypacks and knapsacks
  • jackets, blazers, coats, greatcoats and longcoats
  • wearable sacks and bags
  • shields
  • leather and plate armors

General rules for items

  • Cannot already be verbed.
  • Cannot be a hider, magical or non magical.
  • Must be worn in the right location for item type.
Cloak/cape/greatcloak/warcloak must be shoulder worn.
Robe/burnoose/robes/kimono/gamantang must be worn as a shirt or shirt with armor.
Backpack/pack/rucksack/journeypack/knapsack must be worn on back (like a backpack) or slung on back and shoulder (like shields).
Sack/bag must be wearable, doesn't matter location.
Boots must be foot-worn.
  • Other items are purely dependent on the noun.
Pants are noun-restricted to pants, trousers, breeches or pantaloons. 
Boots are noun-restricted.
Robe, burnoose, robes, kimono, gamantang are noun-restricted.
Backpack, pack, rucksack, journeypack, knapsack are noun-restricted.
Cloak, cape, greatcloak warcloak are noun-restricted.
Skirts/dress/gown are noun-restricted.
Jacket, coat, longcoat,greatcoat, blazer are noun-restricted.
  • Each of those has one set of verbs EXCEPT cloaks, which has 3 sets.

Verb set for each Item Type

Cloaks, Capes

Set 1

  • TURN: <Person> grabs a handful of her black cape and spins around with a flourish, the deep folds of the garment swirling around her gracefully.
  • RAISE: <Person> jumps as high as she can, her black cape billowing around her in a wide circle as she lands!
  • PULL: <Person> pulls up the folds of her black cape around her arm and strikes an overly dramatic pose.
  • TOUCH: <Person> runs the tips of her fingers along the edges of her black cape, drawing attention to the garment.
  • SHAKE: <Person> wiggles around in her black cape, causing it to ripple about her feet in delicate, gentle waves.
  • PINCH: <Person> notices a loose thread on her black cape, and quickly grabs hold of the offending bit of material. With a quick "SNAP!", she makes short work of the thread and flicks it into the air.

Set 2

  • OPEN: <Person> throws the edge of her black cape over her shoulder nonchalantly.
  • CLOSE: <Person> wraps her cape tightly about herself.
  • BOW: <Person> takes the edge of her black cape and holds it out as she bows low in a courtly fashion.
  • TOSS: <Person> tosses back the edge of her cape as if preparing to draw a weapon.
  • WEAR: <Person> drapes her black cape around her shoulders in a billowing swirl of motion.

Set 3

  • TURN: <Person> turns around in her black cape, tangling the material up and around herself.
  • RUB: <Person> rubs her hand against her cape attempting to smooth out an unsightly wrinkle.
  • COVER: You notice <Person> trying to cover an unsightly mud stain on her cape.
  • PULL: <Person> gives her cape a hard tug, making sure it is fastened properly.
  • TOUCH: <Person> fidgets a bit with her black cape, tugging at the hem.
  • POKE: <Person> pokes around inside her black cape, looking for an elusive item.

Robes, Gamatang, & Kimono

  • PULL: <Person> pulls the folds of her blue robe tightly around herself.
  • RUB: <Person> runs her hands down the material of her blue robe, as though smoothing out wrinkles.
  • TURN: <Person> turns sharply, causing her blue robe to billow out around her.
  • EAT: <Person> absent-mindedly gnaws on the collar of her robe.
  • RAISE: <Person> looks mischievous for a moment, but apparently opts against whatever she was thinking.
  • FOLD: <Person> folds her arms inside the sleeves of her blue robe, assuming a sanguine expression.

Skirts, Dresses, & Gowns

  • PULL: <Person> pulls at a loose thread near the hem of her silk skirt, partially unravelling the seam.
  • TURN: <Person> twists her silk skirt around a bit, adjusting it for comfort.
  • RAISE: <Person> smoothes out the wrinkles in her silk skirt with the palm of her hand.
  • POKE: <Person> waves her silk skirt around in a vain attempt to shake the dust off.
  • WAVE: <Person> brushes some dust off of her silk skirt.
  • YANK: <Person> gives her silk skirt a vicious yank, nearly ripping it in the process.

Pants, Pantaloons, & Trousers

  • PULL: <Person> pulls at a loose thread near the seam of her crepe pantaloons, partially unravelling it.
  • RUB: <Person> dusts off her crepe pantaloons, creating small clouds of soot in the process.
  • TOUCH: <Person> touches her crepe pantaloons, reveling in the feel of the material against her fingertips.
  • CLENCH: <Person> wipes her sweaty palms on her crepe pantaloons, hoping no one will notice.
  • NUDGE: <Person> adjusts her crepe pantaloons, attempting to get more comfortable.
  • GAZE: <Person> studies the material of her crepe pantaloons carefully, looking for any flaws.

Boots

  • PULL: <Person> pulls on her boots, fitting them snugly against her feet.
  • RUB: <Person> rubs the toes of her boots, grumbling about the fit.
  • TOUCH: <Person> touches the soles of her boots, looking for holes that might need cobbling.
  • CLEAN: <Person> brushes the dust from her boots.
  • KICK: <Person> kicks her boots together, knocking clumps of dirt and mud from the heels.
  • TAP: <Person> taps the ground with her boots, creating a clicking noise with one heel.

Backpacks, Packs, Journeypacks, Packs, Knapsacks, & Rucksacks (Only back worn)

  • CLOSE: <Person> pulls the flap of her rucksack closed and buttons it securely.
  • OPEN: <Person> unbuttons the flap of her rucksack, pulling it open to reveal the contents.
  • PULL: <Person> pulls the shoulder straps of her rucksack, settling her load to rest more comfortably.
  • RUB: <Person> rubs her rucksack, flicking a few stray blades of grass to the ground.

Jackets

Sacks

  • CLOSE: <Person> pulls hard on the drawstrings of her sack cinching it tightly then sliding the clasp tight against the lip of the sack.
  • OPEN: <Person> slides the clasp off the sack and with a mighty tug pulls the sack open.
  • RAISE: <Person> carefully hefts her sack with a thoughtful expression.
  • PROD: <Person> tugs on the drawstrings of her sack and twirls them around her finger absently.

Shields, Bucklers

  • RUB: <Person> grabs a cloth and buffs her shield.
  • PULL: <Person> turns over her shield and fiddles with the harness. Unsatisfied, she unbuckles the straps and rethreads them, cinching the harness tight.
  • RAISE: <Person> kneels on the ground and holds her shield over her, cowering underneath.
  • LEAN: <Person> rests her shield on the ground and leans against it, catching her breath.

Plate Armor

  • KNOCK: <Person> thumps heavily on her rusted platemail, displaying its sturdiness and protection.
  • RUB: <Person> momentarily polishes some unseen smudge on her rusted platemail.
  • PULL: <Person> pulls the straps of her rusted platemail, adjusting it for comfort.
  • WEAR: <Person> works her way into some rusted platemail, buckling and tightening the straps as she prepares for battle.
  • REMOVE: Unfastening a multitude of buckles, <Person> carefully removes some rusted platemail.

Leather Armor

  • CLEAN: <Person> notices a small spatter of mud on her black leathers and cleans it with her sleeve.
  • TOUCH: <Person> traces her fingers over her black leathers absentmindedly, looking off into the distance.
  • RUB: <Person> momentarily rubs some unseen smudge on her black leathers.
  • GLANCE: <Person> casts an appraising glance over her black leathers, checking for any signs of damage.
  • PROD: <Person> stubs her finger by poking her black leathers.
  • PUNISH: <Person> pounds her fist soundly against her black leathers, testing it for weakness.

Chain Body Armor

  • ADJUST: <Person> shifts her shoulders, jostling the chain shirt until it settles more comfortably into place.
  • PICK: Shaking her head, <Person> picks at a loose ring in her chain shirt, trying to tighten it.
  • SHAKE: Muttering under her breath, <Person> shakes some dried grass free of the links of her chain shirt.
  • RUB: <Person> rubs her palms against her chain shirt, compressing the mesh for a moment. Her hands don't look much cleaner, but perhaps it's the thought that counts.
  • PULL: <Person> pulls the mesh of her chain shirt tight against her body, twisting to look at herself. Yep! She definitely looks fat in that outfit!
  • Note, the headers in this section are the items I personally tried. So don't be limited by the list, as long as it meets the guidelines go and tap it, Thazzuc will let you know if it works!
