Barbarian Handshake

If a Barbarian shakes the hand of another Barbarian, instead they do a warrior's clasp. There are three separate messages, one standard, one for more strength, and the third for when the initiator has greater strength by 20 or more points.

A thief can mimic this if they are shaken by another, but they cannot initiate it.

Standard

  • Clamping a fist around <person>'s forearm, you pull him heartily toward you in a bone-crushing Barbarian greeting.
<Person> clamps his fist around your forearm and hauls you over for a merciless Barbarian greeting. You return the compliment, the satisfying sensation of sinew crunching in your grip.

Greater Strength

  • Clamping a fist around <weaker person>'s forearm, you pull <him/her> heartily toward you in a bone-crushing Barbarian greeting.
<Stronger person> clamps <his/her> fist around your forearm and hauls you over for a merciless Barbarian greeting. Mustering all your grit, you attempt to give <him/her> some satisfactory bruises in return.
  • You grasp <stronger person>'s forearm and embrace <him/her> sturdily, hoping to convey a sense of kinship between two proud warriors.
<Weaker person> grasps your forearm with a sturdy grip and holds your gaze for a moment. In kinship, you return the greeting, taking care not to break <his/her> arm.

Vastly Greater Strength

  • Clamping a fist around <weaker person>'s forearm, you pull <him/her> heartily toward you in a bone-crushing Barbarian greeting.
