Prayer

*The Guided Path*
::by Shimmah CoIdsilence

Searching through the realm so vast,
And reaching for a way to last.
Looking now, for inner peace,
The burdens of my soul released.

I search the silken skies at dawn,
I see Elanthia reborn.
I stand and look and watch with awe,
That which I'd never noticed before.

I searched the woodlands for the earth,
Fulfilling nature's only worth,
Peri'el come take my hand,
Unite me with the sacred land.

I searched the ocean water blue,
The rain, the lakes, the morning dew.
Eluned won't dwell in me.
Set my soul and being free.

I searched the candle's burning of Fire,
A flickering flame that does not tire.
Meraud come and burn inside,
And in my heart now do reside.

I searched the shadows and the air,
The unseen power that's everywhere.
Damaris as I seek thee deep,
Keep me safe in wake and sleep.

I search the light to find in me,
The Goddess of divinity.
I look within and then above,
I find in me, Hodierna's love.

I search the dark to find inside,
A place where foresight likes to hide.
I look within and then on high,
On Firulf's strength I can rely.

And all these things are like a key,
In them I find the natural me.
I did not search and yet I found,
Glythtide's joy that does abound.

The great Kuniyo I chance to view,
A deer, a wolf, the forest too.
I see the Faenella, as I grow,
Reflected in the Moons' bright glow.

Urrem'tier's void I find in me,
But even death can set me free.
Although some think of him with scorn,
Through him our souls can be reborn.

I search the world for many things,
I take whatever Kertigen brings.
But of all the precious gems I find,
The greatest is my peace of mind.
