Description: Renowned for its usefulness, Drums of the Snake will attune all listeners to the tribal rhythms of nature, greatly increasing their own ability in the survival skills which you bear the most knowledge. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to have much impact on those skills that pertain to stealth or evasion due to the fact that the bard's own music will often draw attention rather than direct it away. This enchante is not to be underestimated, however, due to its potency.
Effect: Unknown
Example Messaging: Intro: With a snap to your wrist, you pick out the first beats of a catchy rhythm upon your <percussion instrument>.

Verse:The tempo increases as you lighten your touch upon your <percussion instrument>, though each rhythmic beat falls into the pattern familiar throughout the rest of your enchante.

Solo:A ringing silence fills the air with startling abruptness. It takes a moment for your ears to register that you have not stopped, but merely moved to a softer rendition of your enchante, your fingers only lightly touching your <percussion instrument>.

Devices/Tattoos: No devices or tattoos documented.

Notes

  • Played LOUD this will affect everyone in the area.
  • Played QUIET this will only affect those in the Bard's group.
  • Moderate bonus to Agility.
  • Provides a minor bonus to Skinning skill, Climbing skill, Disarm Traps skill and Lockpicking skill.
  • Decreases the roundtimes associated with DISARMing traps and PICKing locks.
  • The base bonus to Agility is +5. This increases by +1 for every 5 points of mana used above min prep, to a max of +15 at 55-60 mana.
  • The lingering effects are weaker than the active enchante. For example, the lingering agility bonus is +5, no matter how much mana the enchante was played at. The bonus to skills may also be the minimum, but this is untested.
