The Northern Watch is a light infantry brigade commissioned as a part of the <i>Royal Infantry of Therengia</i>, under His Lordship, <b>Baron [[Gyfford]] Theren</b>. While serving the whole of Therengia, The Northern Watch maintains its base in [[Therenborough]]. The brigade is currently inactive, but during a recent audience (7/9/2015) His Grace indicated that if a suitable Commander was found, he would reinstate the brigade's active status.<br>

Membership in the Northern Watch requires an unparalleled devotion to your land, its people, and your comrades. Its members exhibit devout loyalty, placing the safety of their land before their own.<br>
In order to become a member, new recruits participate in a comprehensive set of core classes including basic group combat, basic triage, a history of the brigade, and an overview of the current chain of command and its protocols. Membership is earned upon successful completion of the Watch's traditional "Running of the Gauntlet," where recruits are required to demonstrate an understanding of their lessons alongside fellow recruits. After successful completion the Gauntlet, members decide how their skills will be best utilized by joining either the Combat or Support group.<br>
