Biography

Viptorian has never spoken of his family since his initial arrival in The Crossing in 354, leaving very little is known of his childhood. All he has openly shared is that he was born on the 18th day of the 5th month of Uthmor the Giant in the year of the Golden Panther, 331 years after the victory of Lanival the Redeemer and that he had an early affinity for the Gor'Togs of Tiger Clan.

In early 354 AV, Viptorian found is way to The Crossing and, being the rough and tumble young man he was, took the guidance of Everild and b began his studies with Agonar, joining the Barbarian Guild. In joining the guild, Viptorian would spend a lifetime making friends with his guildmates. He forged strong bonds with Donlee Marcade, Maulem, Drexella, Phii, Rufhelous, Caraamon, and many, many more.

As he began his studies as a Barbarian, Viptorian suddenly found himself thrust into his first challenges, defending his newly adopted home Zoluren during the outbreak of the Gorbesh War. Though he was not a major factor in the defense of the province, Viptorian took pride in lending a hand in the fight against the invaders. After the Gorbesh War, Viptorian began becoming more of a member of the community. He became involved in a group that included Pureblade, Toren, Laelia, Donlee, and others. These people would come to play a very large role in his life and the development of his career.

In 359, Viptorian again found himself in the defense of Zoluren as the Sorrow War took hold in Zoluren and Therenegia primarily. Viptorian found himself fighting side by side with his band of friends, fighting to the best of his ability, proving to be more of a force than he was during the Gorbesh War. It was also during this time that Viptorian spent the first significant amount of time in Riverhaven, finding it to be a more relaxing city than he found The Crossing. Upon Sorrow's defeat at the Standing Stones (Viptorian was not present for this), Viptorian returned to The Crossing, which proved to be a very important decision.

He is wearing a a fine golden chain hauberk with elegant steel epaulets about the shoulders, a shield or bearing eight swords purpure, some regal chain gauntlets with shifting links of gold and purple, a brilliant gold-scaled greatcloak edged in purple silk, a reinforced nightsilk back harness, a pair of intricately knotted tri-color gold cufflinks, a large royal blue velvet document satchel trimmed in golden piping with a gold crest on the flap, a large pack covered with various battle scenes and overlapping golden scale mail, a brilliant blue silk shirt with golden hook buttons, a midnight-blue crushed velvet doublet with gold trim about the shoulders, a brass bracelet coiled into the shape of a striking viper with glittering ruby eyes, a heavy gold wristcuff, a jade and gold ring carved into twining vipers clasping a serpent's heart ruby, a black leather sword belt in the shape of a viper with two silver fangs, a deep blue leather belt with a circular gold buckle, a polished belt frog with a jagged-edged cinquedea hanging from it, a golden sheath, some fighting pants crafted from deep blue suede fastened with polished gold buckles, some deep blue riding boots with gold piping along the front seam and a regal chain coif of shifting gold and purple links adorned with a simple gold crown.
