Membership is followed by completion of the Watch's traditional running of the Gauntlet, where recruits demonstrate what they've learned by going into battle with their fellow recruits. Combat Academy is a 12-16 week course for a class of up to 10 adventurers who want to learn unit tactics, group combat and leadership. It is PvE challenge based and all lessons are hands-on. This is a difficult program that challenges your ability to work with other adventurers in dangerous and stressful circumstances. Each course is customized to the skills and composition of the group enrolled. |

Originally founded by Sir Madigan, the Watch continued over the years under the guidance of several notable Commanders, including Marsais, Jerid, Jayrbee, Frodes, and Lyathe. After almost twenty years of inactivity, the Watch was reestablished in the year 441 under the command of Sir Madigan.
While serving the whole of Therengia, the Watch maintains it's headquarters in Rossman's Landing.

Units within the Watch are set up to promote efficiency. Each unit performs missions, distributes information, and gathers together socially under the direction of their unit Lieutenant and Sergeant.
