The [[Dragon Priest (Cult)|Dragon Priests]] began with [[Sh'kial]] and worship was a way of appeasing the [[World Dragon]] through peaceful means. This practice was corrupted by his protege [[Dzree]] into a cult that sought to appease the Dragon through sacrifice of the other races -- including [[S'Kra Mur]]. It built into what became known as the [[Dragon Priest Empire]] and reigned over [[Elanthia]] for over one hundred years before being defeated.
