Shop Attendant
A shop attendant is able to assist you with altering your tie items. To interact with a shop attendant, you must first hold a tie item in your right hand. You may then:
WHISPER ATTENDANT REMOVE ITEM PACK removes the "pack" option from a tie item for 1 indicium.
WHISPER ATTENDANT ADD ITEM adds item in your left hand to the list of what the tie item in your right hand holds (up to 20 different items) for 2 indicia.
To see what items your tie item might currently hold, you should STUDY it!
Tall Elderly Mage
"Aye, I can teach you further in the ways of magic," the elderly mage says to you, looking uncharacteristically serious for one clothed in rags. "But be warned, this is not for the faint of heart. It is difficult to unlearn what one has already learned, so you must be serious before you ask." Staring at you appraisingly, he continues, "I can teach you to appear thus when preparing your spell patterns:"
1) [alternate] You whistle an intricate sequence of notes as you prepare the Summon Death Monkey spell.
2) [alternate] A radiant glow wreathes your hands as you weave lines of light into the complicated pattern of the Summon Death Monkey spell.
3) [alternate] A strong wind swirls around you as you prepare the Summon Death Monkey spell.
4) [alternate] Glowing geometric patterns arc between your upturned palms as you prepare the Summon Death Monkey spell.
5) [alternate] Light withdraws from around you as you speak arcane words for the Summon Death Monkey spell.
6) [alternate] Calmly reaching out with one hand, a silvery-blue beam of light descends from the sky to fill your upturned palm with radiance as you prepare the Summon Death Monkey spell.
7) [alternate] In one fluid motion, you bring your palms close together and a fiery crimson mist begins to burn within them as you prepare the Summon Death Monkey spell.
8) [alternate] You start frantically flailing your hands and shouting nonsensical phrases as you prepare the Summon Death Monkey spell.
9) [silent] Shadow and light collide wildly around you as you prepare the Summon Death Monkey spell.
10) [silent] You gaze skyward and trace the planetary alignments in the air as you prepare the Summon Death Monkey spell.
11) [silent] You spin about wildly, whirling around with a feral grace as you prepare the Summon Death Monkey spell.
12) [alternate] Throwing your head back, you release a savage roar and growl words for the Summon Death Monkey spell.
13) [alternate] You gaze at your hands, touching your thumb to each opposing digit, whilst preparing the Summon Death Monkey spell.
14) [alternate] Accompanied with a flash of light, you clap your hands sharply together in preparation of the Summon Death Monkey spell.
15) [silent] Droplets of water coalesce around your fingertips as your arms undulate like gracefully flowing river currents to form the pattern of the Summon Death Monkey spell.
16) [silent] Turning your head slightly and gazing directly ahead with a calculating stare, tiny sparks of crystalline light flash around your eyes as you prepare the Summon Death Monkey spell.
17) [silent] Inhaling deeply, you adopt a cyclical rhythm in your breaths to reflect the ebb and flow of the natural world and steel yourself to prepare the Summon Death Monkey spell.
18) [alternate] You clasp your silvery-white flame shrouded hands together prayerfully and release a zealous battle cry as you prepare the Summon Death Monkey spell.
19) [silent] Focusing intently, you slice seven straight lines through the air as you invoke the Summon Death Monkey spell.
20) [silent] You exhale softly, your breath flowing into a shimmering cloud of iridescent air that coalesces to form the pattern of the Summon Death Monkey spell.
21) [silent] You inhale sharply, invoking the Summon Death Monkey spell as transparent waves of building energy distort the color of your surroundings for a moment.
[To learn a new preparation message, ORDER # FROM mage.]
Note: Cost is 125 indicia.
Cursed Tree
A cursed tree reads:
"The magic within this tree will empower your ritual foci for 50 indicia. [OOC: The focus will receive a 5 seconds Roundtime reduction per empowerment. 10 seconds is the lowest Roundtime that a ritual foci can be empowered down to.]"
Note: To use the tree, PUT your focus in it.
