The Dragon Priest cult began as a way of appeasing the World Dragon through peaceful means but was corrupted by Dzree into a fanatical S'kra Mur superiority cult that sought to appease the Dragon through sacrifice of the other races. It was long thought dead, but recent contact with the Black Spire and the emergence of Hhrsaraa to claim the throne showed that the cult is alive and well.
