According to the timeline provided by GM Cadaya, the Elven-Human War lasted twelve years instead of five.

The Elven-Human War was a five-year war also known as the Human-Elven War and the War of Tears. The War was started by Sorril's father in 1008 BL when Sorril (an Elf) eloped with Kanton (a Human) and became pregnant with his twins instead of marrying Morganae's son Rivyn (an Elf) as her father had promised she would. The War involved many of the Elanthian races and caused great destruction. It ended in 1003 BL with the death of Sorril, Rivyn, and Kanton.

These dates are based off of the timeline provided by GM Atrathien in 1998, which differs a bit from the timeline provided by GM Cadaya in 2001. According to the timeline provided by GM Cadaya, the Elven-Human War lasted twelve years instead of five.
