Dance floors have special messaging for dancing with yourself or a partner.

Dancing Alone

HUG You wrap your arms around yourself, swaying slowly as you dance. Person wraps (his/her) arms around (his/her)self, swaying slowly as (he/she) dances.
KISS You blow a teasing kiss as you twirl across the dance floor Person blows a teasing kiss as (he/she) twirls across the dance floor.
NUDGE You give a theatrical pirouette, twirling gracefully along the dance floor. Person gives a theatrical pirouette, twirling gracefully along the dance floor.
POKE You squat down in a low crouch and begin to dance, kicking your feet out as you do. Dancing with a Partner

Note, in some dance halls, the commands only work if you do DANCE <NAME> <VERB>.

DANCE <Person> You invite <Person> to dance with you. Person1 holds out (his/her) hand and invites Person2 to dance.
DANCE <Person> You dance lightly across the dance floor with Person. Person1 dances lightly across the dance floor with Person2.
BOP <Person> You stomp about the dance floor, somehow missing Person's feet as you dance. Those dance lessons really paid off! Person stomps about the dance floor, narrowly missing your feet as (he/she) tries to dance -- ouch!
BOUNCE <Person> You bound across the dance floor with Person in your arms. Person bounds energetically across the dance floor with you in (his/her) arms.
DIP <Person> You twirl Person around, suddenly pushing (him/her) down in a dramatic dip. In a combination of sweaty fingers and mistimed movements, you drop her on the floor. Uh oh! Think (he/she) will believe that's part of the dance step? Person twirls you around, suddenly pushing you down in a dramatic dip! Well, it started out dramatic at least, but a combination of sweaty fingers and mistimed movements leaves you sprawled on the floor. Maybe you need a new dance partner.
FLIRT <Person> You gaze soulfully into Person's eyes, drawing her a bit closer as you dance. Person gazes soulfully into your eyes, drawing you a bit closer as you dance.
HUG <Person> You draw Person closer into your arms in a slow, romantic dance. Person draws you closer into (his/her) arms in a slow, romantic dance.
KISS <Person> You steal a kiss from Person as you sway with (him/her) across the dance floor. Person steals a kiss as (he/she) sways with you across the dance floor.
NUDGE <Person> You swing Person out away from you and, holding (his/her) hand high, you twirl (him/her) gracefully. Person swings you out and, holding your hand high, (he/she) gracefully twirls you.
POKE <Person> You dip Person dramatically then pull (him/her) back up into your arms. Person dips you dramatically then pulls you back into (his/her) arms.
PULL <Person> You lay your head on Person's shoulder as you dance. Person lays (his/her) head on your shoulder as you dance.
PUSH <Person> You lift Person up high into the air and twirl with (him/her)! Person lifts you up high into the air and twirls with you!
SHAKE <Person> You hop around the floor in a spritely dance, twirling Person in your arms. Person hops around the floor in a spritely dance, twirling you in (his/her)
SHUFFLE <Person> You shuffle awkwardly across the floor with Person, counting steps under your breath. Person1 shuffles awkwardly across the floor with you. You swear you can hear (him/her) counting under (his/her) breath as (he/she) dances.
TAP <Person> You tap your fingers against Person's shoulders as you dance, keeping time with the music. Person taps (his/her) fingers against your shoulders as you dance, keeping time with the music.
TURN <Person You give a quick quarter turn, spinning Person around the dance floor. Person gives a quick quarter turn, spinning you around the dance floor.
WINK <Person> You swing Person out away from you then spin her back into your arms. Person swings you out then spins you right back into (his/her) arms.
