ATTENTION: As of the DR 3.0 update (1/19/2013), Constellation Jewelry has ceased to work.
Constellation Jewelry, also called CJs, are articles of jewelry that possess enchantments that boost a designated skill. Depending on the skills of the jewelry's creator a skill can be boosted by as much as 100 ranks and each piece of jewelry could have as much as 10 uses. A CJ is activated by rubbing it. Anyone can use Constellation Jewelry, but if the user is not skilled in Arcana skill they will use up more than one charge when they rub it.
NOTE: CJ's are expected to be de-activated in DragonRealms 3.0.
Usage
Theoretical ranks of Arcana to charges used:
- 0 ranks - can't use 'em
- 1-24 ranks or Barbarian - all charges
- 25-49 ranks - 6 charges
- 50-99 ranks - 4 charges
- 100-149 ranks - 3 charges
- 150-199 ranks - 2 charges
- 200+ ranks - 1 charge
Items Needed
- Enchanter's Burin
- A piece of jewelry
- Imbue
- Shadows, Dazzle or Unleash to activate
- Sigils for skill you want
Steps
- Imbue your item twice
- Scribe, activate and bind the foundation sigil onto the item.
- Scribe, activate and bind the conjunctive sigil onto the item.
- If the skill requires a trine sigil: Scribe, activate and bind the sigil onto the item.
