The Aesry Surlaenis'a Forging Society is a place to practice the forging disciplines of Blacksmithing, Armorsmithing, and Weaponsmithing.

The Aesry Forging Society can be found on the northern outer ring of Aesry proper, halfway between Wisdom training and the Herbalist/Alchemist's shop. Forges, foundries, and smithies are available north and south from the lobby. Rentable forges are available through soot-stained doors in the rooms north and south of the lobby.

A Forging Master is on hand to issue workorders, teach techniques, and grant a career or hobby if you choose.

High windows are set within the sturdy stone walls just below the vaulted ceilings, each window equiped with louvered vents to help improve the airflow within the working areas. The walls display some of the many metallic products produced within the workshops, while a few employees bustle about on errands for craftspeople. The noises of the forges, smithies, and foundries drown out the sounds of the city, making it difficult for anyone to carry on a conversation.

A large sign reads: Welcome to the Maker's Mark Shop! Crafters of some renown can ORDER BASIC specialized marking stamps for their designs here. Crafters with great prestige can ORDER ADVANCED Marks. These marks are permanent, and will span all Crafting Disciplines.

Tool Store

Bins and shelves display the tools available for purchase, all of them covered with the thin layer of soot and ash that seems to permeate the whole building. The walls are thick stone and somewhat muffle the din of the workshops enclosed within the large edifice.
You also see a clerk, a sturdy low counter with a small placard on it, a large sign and a steel crate.

You can place your crafting tools on this counter, and a clerk will store it for you. You can also ASK a clerk for the item that is in storage, and he will return it to you. Finally, you can ASK a clerk for a LIST of the items you have in storage, or for a REGISTER to allow you to store deeds easily. If you have multiple tools of the same name, a clerk will give you a sack with all of those tools. If you ask for TOOLS, he will give you all of your tools that are currently in storage. If you hold on to the sack you get from him, you can place that on the counter and a clerk will store everything inside for you.

Book Store

Freshly chiseled granite walls surround an area where forgers can quickly resupply. A passageway covered by a leather flap pierces the wall to the south, and from the passage resound the clangs of an anvil chorus. A simple wooden door leads back outside. You also see a soot-smudged notice, a large sign and a prestige board.
Obvious exits: west.
