Beneath Fang's Peak

The Beneath Fang's Peak mine is an Illithi province premium hunting area (PREMIUM 6 3) located southeast of Fang Cove in the Fang's Shadow area. Consequently, only Estate Holder's are able to mine it. To reach the mine from Fang Cove's eastern gate, GO GATE, E, E, E, then GO CRACK to enter. Also, GO CRACK to exit. From the northern entrance the mine is a linear five-room cave running SE, S, SE, S to the southern entrance. OUT exits. To enter from the south, first SEARCH CREEPERs and then, once found, GO CAVE.

• Movement in the mine (including RETREATing) can result in entanglement, a web effect that prevents movement and other actions for the duration [ Roundtime: # seconds]. Skill in athletics will mitigate the time it takes to escape this web effect. With sufficient skill it can be avoided altogether. Experienced dilettante's (135 ranks) can avoid it when retreating (12/15/2016). More skill is required to avoid it when moving room to room.
  
• The mine's geology is a mixture of igneous, metamorphic, and sedimentary layers with igneous rock layers being the most widespread.
• Spotted kashika serpents inhabit the mine.
