Description: | The Mind Shout spell generates an indiscriminate mental attack, similar to the Mental Blast spell on which it's based, at the location of a focused moonbeam. Be warned that it's possible for this spell to feedback on the caster if too those assaulted are of strong enough will.
This is a battle spell, intended to be prepared quickly and cast on an area or group while in battle. When used on opponents, this spell pits your mind against your enemy's will. It affects yourself and hostile creatures. It requires a minimum of thirty mana streams, and can expand to a maximum of one hundred mana streams woven into it. To begin to be able to cast this spell, you will need to reach the rank of a 50th degree adept. By the time you have mastered this spell, you will be ranked as a guru in your abilities as a caster. It requires the Debilitation skill to cast effectively.

Example Messaging: | You gesture. You release a wave of psychic energy with your Yavash moonbeam as the focal point.

- Will not affect the caster if they are in the same room as the moonbeam.
- Will give a locate style look at the room when cast remotely with no Distant Gaze up.
- An image of the local surrounding your moonbeam briefly flashes before your eyes.
- Players in the affected room are made aware of who cast the spell when cast remotely.
- Causes charges of disturbing the peace when cast in justice areas.
Trivia
This spell was originally written by GM Rigby, but was only added nearly 13 years later during the Magic 3.0 conversion. It was added thanks to the work of GMs Raesh and Ricinus.
