List of critters divided into tiers. Some critters are more or less difficult, but basically speaking, if you're in the middle of the rank bracket, you can probably hunt most things in Tiers 2 - 4 with some chance of survival.
Note that there are no Tier 1 creatures in Forfedhdar, meaning adventurers will need to seek adequate training elsewhere before coming to Forfedhdar. Also the Trolls, Ogres, and Gryphons provide opportunities for skinning and locksmithing.
Tier 2: (~50-150+ ranks)
- Stone-throwing Imp
- Malodorous Bucca
- Young Firecat -- Note: Premium hunting area, also in the same area as Supple Firecats.
- Graverobber
- Albino Cave Fish -- Note: Very limited spawn rate.
- Young Cave Troll -- Note: Have tower shields which can make them more difficult to hit. Limited spawn rate.
Tier 3: (~100-200 ranks)
- Giant Blight Bat -- Note: Undead magic resistance, need pole or ranged weapon to hit. Spawn along Pilgrimage Trail at night.
- Frostweyr Bear -- Note: Roar attack, can knock out of room with paw-swipe.
- Retch Fiend -- Note: Maggot attack does a good deal of damage.
- Vela'tohr Bloodvine -- Note: Very swarmy, ranged thorn/poison attack.
- Writhing Maiden's Tress -- Note: Higher learning cap than bloodvines, but less swarmy.
- Lithe Blight Ogre -- Note: Use longbows. Lithe, Stumpy, and Giant Blight Ogres are (supposed to be) in the same area.
- Stumpy Blight Ogre -- Note: Not seen in a while. Lithe, Stumpy, and Giant Blight Ogres are (supposed to be) in the same area.
Tier 4: (~200-300+ ranks)
- Rotting Deadwood Dryad -- Note: Unarmed, but casts Harawep's Bonds. With ~35+ Agi/Ref able to generally avoid the webs.
- Sickly Blightwater Nyad -- Note: Uses a staff, more deadly than the dryads, but not drastically stronger.
- Fledgeling Forest Gryphon
- Young Forest Gryphon
- Giant Blight Ogre -- Note: Not seen in a while. Lithe, Stumpy, and Giant Blight Ogres are (supposed to be) in the same area.
- Sinuous Ice Adder -- Note: Spawn limited for solo hunters. Impractical for non-Clerics.
- Cave Troll
- Supple Firecat
- Frost Angiswaerd
- Icy Blue Ghast -- Note: Reported to spend little time attacking, and mostly time casting and retreating.
Tier 5+: (~325+ ranks) (Information at this point gets sketchy)
- Black Marble Gargoyle -- Note: Immune to non-holy magic. However, they are not counted as evil creatures for the purposes of cleric spells. Long climb unless you're a Cleric, however, an alternate route has been reported.

- Black Goblin
- Sky Hawk
- Black Ape
