A tangle of cloudberry bushes has grown so lush and tall that those seeking to walk by must move to the edge of the path, pushing past their sturdy stems. In season, the berries are gathered and made into both tasty foodstuffs, and a particularly sweet and intoxicating wine. You also see a baked brick cottage with tiny white rosebuds blooming near a marble fountain, a cedar-trimmed stone block home with delicate clusters of twisted glass icicles hung along the eaves and a cozy red brick cottage with vibrant red roses and ivy twining across the arch of its door.

[Willow Walk, Garden Path]
The whitewashed walls of the Empaths' Guild and Hospital rise to the south, with a neat row of taffelberry bushes planted at their base. To one side, surrounded by a well-tended bed of flowers, is an alabaster figurine of an Elven woman holding a human child. You also see a red brick cottage, a cozy oak-trimmed cottage with an out-of-control herb garden running rampant in its front yard and a grey stucco home.

[Willow Walk, Garden Path]
Visible over the top of the garden wall rises the far higher wall guarding the perimeter of the city. The southwest-facing stones trap all available sunlight, and this area is normally several degrees warmer than the rest of the garden. Brilliant flame-colored tiger lilies flourish year-round under the clement conditions, and in front of them, a tangle of lepradria orchids sends up delicate vivid yellow blooms. You also see a cozy baked brick abode, a cozy white stucco cottage and a cross-grained oak frame cottage.

[Willow Walk, Garden Path]
The high grey limestone garden wall to the north provides protection from storms, sheltering the plantings at its base from harsh winds and rains. Flowers normally found in more tropical climes flourish in this little enclave, their exotic and tantalizing scents filling the air even when winter holds the rest of the world in its icy fangs. You also see a peach-colored oak-trimmed cottage with delicate mounds of white faerie rose bushes growing beneath the windows, a cozy green block home with a window box planted with budding tulips upon the sill and a white block house.

[Willow Walk, Garden Path]
Overlooking several wooden chaises that have been polished to a smooth shine by years of use, a row of cherry trees lines the space between the white gravel path and the garden wall. An oddly shaped porcelain bird feeder hangs from the branches of one tree, and the area is usually filled with chirps and birdsong. You also see an oak frame cottage, an oak-shingled red brick home with vibrant red roses and ivy twining across the arch of its door and a cozy white stucco house surrounded by several flickering will-o-wisps.

[Willow Walk, Water Lily Pool]
Water trickling down from the fountain provides a constant musical backdrop. Tiny fish swim among the floating water lilies, darting up to the surface occasionally to search for their next meal. The water, coming from wells far below the surface, remains cool to the touch in every season. You also see the garden.

[Willow Walk, Fountain]
Randomly shaped leaves of verdigrised copper form a tall fountain in the middle of a large pool filled with water lilies, which is surrounded by a low garden of flowers and herbs that shifts in color with the seasons. Benches shaped of polished copperwood are scattered about, inviting the weary passerby to sit and be soothed by the music of the water trickling its random way down from one copper leaf to another into the surrounding pond. You also see a large stone turtle with a hollow in its shell.

All who pass by here help in caring for the plants, and are free to share in the bounty that it produces as the seasons turn. You also see a sturdy pine-trimmed house decorated with bright silver bells suspended from thick red velvet, an oak-trimmed cottage and a baked brick cottage with vibrant red roses and ivy twining across the arch of its door.

[Emmiline's Cottage, Path]
A white gravel path, speckled lightly with grey stone, winds leisurely to the painted steps of a moderately sized cottage. Wrapped around the front of the cheery yellow building is a pillared porch with a small seating area, and the steps are flanked by flower beds and small shrubs. Lace curtains shroud the windows at the front of the home, and a third window, etched and frosted, is mounted into the polished wooden door.
