A staff-wide effort to push out new weekly releases, pushed out every Friday. Because of a larger staff pool to rotate through, this project can accommodate releases that are a bit larger in scale than Tuesday Tidings.

Announcement

Hi folks!

We've had over 4 years (2020-2024 and still going, for now!) of weekly Tuesday Tiding releases coming from a small, 4-5 person team.  Team members have rotated in and out over time, but for us, we've liked having a set schedule (and rotation!) of project deadlines.  X GM knows that they have to release a project on Y date to keep the streak going.  We wanted to push this to a staff-wide effort.

Having more people in the pool to rotate through each "cycle" means a longer time between each individual's releases, and it brings some fresh input in the types of projects we're working on.  If there's one thing that Tuesday Tidings have proved, it's that there's a TON of little things we can do to keep improving the game!  But this longer timeframe also means that individuals can plan some of their bigger projects better because they have a target date to aim for.

So!  Lyneya announced it at SimuCon, but we're introducing a new Fun-Day Fridays series of releases.  Some of these may be smaller things like TT projects, or they may be new, bigger systems or areas or other types of projects.  Funny story -- Lyneya was meant to be project #1 during SimuCon the day it was announced, but we hit some hiccups and recovery post-con in getting her project out.  BUT!  Grejuva is picking up project #1 THIS week, and we'll hopefully see Lyneya's before next Friday!
