Entry Hall

[Forging Society, Entry Hall]
Across the room from an archway leading to the main edifice are a pair of wooden benches, which are the only furniture provided for the customer's comfort. Periodically, custodians hired to keep the area tidy wander through, occasionally muttering as they sweep the stone floor clean of all the grime people drag in with them when they leave the foundry. On one wall, an artist has painted a portrait of the Undogoz Forge as a memorial to the now closed building where many Rissans learned their craft. Insulating the space from the searing heat of the smithy is a heavy oak door, covered on each side with a sheet of steel for added protection.
You also see Forging Society Master Kapric, an armorsmithing chart hanging from the wall, a blacksmithing chart hanging from the wall and a weaponsmithing chart hanging from the wall.
Obvious exits: east.

Bookstore

[Forging Society, Bookstore]
A long, cypress counter serves as a partition between the bookstore and a much smaller office area, making it easy for Master Smith Kapric, who runs the facility, to keep an eye on customers when they enter and offer assistance when necessary. Tall racks are filled with sample books for the shopper who prefers to peruse the merchandise. You also see a prestige board and a large sign.
Obvious exits: northeast, west, northwest.

A large sign reads:

Tool Shop

[Forging Society, Tool Shop]
Despite the building's thick, rock walls, the faint sound of metal hitting metal can sometimes be heard, its repetitive pattern becoming almost lyrical. Clerks keep busy checking to make sure the displays of tools and supplies for sale are filled, often rushing to the backroom to load up on any stock that is missing. You also see Forging Society Master Kapric, a large sign and a steel crate.
Obvious exits: north, east, southeast.

Supplies

[Forging Society, Supply Shop]
Crude, wooden pallets stacked with recently mined ore create cramped aisles throughout the room, giving customers a chance to inspect the selection before making their purchase. Off in the corner, several crates contain additional materials for sale, including already smelted ingots. You also see a large sign and an ingot cutter.
Obvious exits: southwest, west.

A large sign reads:
"Welcome to our store! Materials, ingredients and packets for deeding items used
in the forging process are sold here. Not all mining locations are civilized
enough to offer immediate deeding of resources. To accommodate the fearless miner,
deed packets are available for purchase here. Crafters may also use these to deed

Maker's Marks

[Forging Society, Maker's Mark Shop]
White paint coating the stone block walls serves as a neutral canvas for the sketches of sample designs aimed at helping potential customers decide on what aspects they desire in their maker's marks. Tools, templates and patterns hang above a small work area where artisans construct the purchased orders promptly as they come in. Heat emanates from cracks around a leather curtain leading to the foundry. You also see a large sign.
Obvious exits: south.

A large sign reads:
Welcome to the Maker's Mark Shop! Crafters of some renown can ORDER BASIC specialized
marking stamps for their designs here. Crafters with great prestige can ORDER ADVANCED

Foundry (East 5 rooms)

[Forging Society, Foundry]
Once servicing the Undogoz Forge, select pieces of equipment, which still remain in good working condition, have found a new home here as part of the city's attempts to keep costs down. In the room's center, a constant fire burns in the circular firepit with a small pile of fuel by its side, waiting to be added to increase the flames to a blazing inferno. The clang of metal against metal drifts over from the smithy to the west and a heavy, oak door leads to the entry hall of the society.
You also see a heavy oak door, a large waste bucket, a granite crucible and an ingot cutter.
Obvious exits: north, west.

[Forging Society, Foundry]
A combination of sweat and molten steel intertwine to permeate the air with a slightly acrid, sour smell that varies in intensity depending on the time of day. Suspended by heavy chains secured to a blackened wooden beam is a huge granite crucible. Piled high in the corner of the room is a large pile of crushed coal, waiting for the next forger to feed it to the fire.
You also see an ingot cutter and a large waste bucket.
Obvious exits: north, south, west.

[Forging Society, Foundry]
Emanating from the fire, patchy clouds of soot cover the ceiling and form streaks down the walls like black rain during a tropical storm. Ashy dust fills the air, spiraling up in the heat as it blows off a pile of fuel. A rhythmic hammering sound drifts over from the smithy to the west, followed by an occasional curse indicating things probably didn't go the way the forger desired.
You also see an ingot cutter, a granite crucible and a large waste bucket.
Obvious exits: north, south, west.

[Forging Society, Foundry]
Already dark by its nature, the stone walls of the forge are blackened further by soot, ash and dust kicked up by the constant stream of workmen the forge serves on a daily basis. Custodians hired by the city wander in and out checking the large waste bucket, making sure the discarded pieces of metal are cleaned up off the floor and keeping the foundry as clean of trash as possible.
You also see an ingot cutter, a pile of fuel and a granite crucible.
Obvious exits: north, south, west.

[Forging Society, Foundry]
Along the top of one wall, a row of exhaust vents siphon off some of the oppressive heat generated by the fire in an attempt to make the room's temperature more comfortable for forgers busy at their craft. An ingot cutter salvaged from the Undogoz Forge sits near a large pile of fuel and a leather curtain leads to the Maker's Mark shop.
You also see a granite crucible and a large waste bucket.
Obvious exits: south, west.

Smithy (West 5 rooms)

[Forging Society, Smithy]
The back wall of the smithy area is covered with a grimy grey and red dust from the constant attention of the grindstone. Several small windows along the top of the wall vent some of the choking dust and heat from the forge, but solid steel grates prevent anything larger than a gauntlet from passing through and into the canal beyond.
You also see a pile of fuel, an iron anvil, a large waste bucket and a slack tub filled with water.
Obvious exits: east, south.

[Forging Society, Smithy]
Despite being swept on a regular basis by diligent custodians, metal shavings and bits of broken steel litter the floor, creating a sparkling effect when lit by the flames of the forge's roaring fire. The smell of burning coal and heated metal fight for dominance here, indicating the amount of work this room normally sees.
You also see a large waste bucket, an iron anvil, a pile of fuel, a slack tub filled with water and a grindstone.
Obvious exits: north, east, south.

[Forging Society, Smithy]
An oversized, glowing forge dominates the center of the stone floor, banishing all other equipment to the outlying corners of the room. Nicknamed -- The Beast -- it's constantly consuming the red-hot coals in its belly and demanding more fuel from the pile, much like a ravenous animal. From the smell of burning flesh lingering in the room, many craftsmen have felt its fiery bite.
You also see a grindstone, a slack tub filled with water, an iron anvil and a large waste bucket.
Obvious exits: north, east, south.

[Forging Society, Smithy]
The floor bears the burns and scars from regular sprays of stray sparks. Should only the stone surface be an ocean, the equipment scattered about would make a parody of an armada of ships, possibly in mockery of the failed attempts of the Dragon Priest Empire to subdue Mer'Kresh. In reality, though, the only subduing going on is that of iron and steel beneath a determined worker's tools.
You also see a grindstone, a slack tub filled with water, a pile of fuel, an iron anvil, a glowing forge and a large waste bucket.
Obvious exits: north, east, south.

[Forging Society, Smithy]
Constant waves of scalding heat flow through the smithy, set into motion by the sizzling fires and red-hot metals being worked. Even sounds seem warped and muffled, but somehow the echo of clanging tools and crackling of fiery sparks manage to cut through the thick air. Nothing is spared the attentions of the temperature and dust, and both stone and metal tools wear the scars that the environment has delivered.
