Hvaral Dry Dock

While not a traditional pier, because it does not extend onto water, the dry dock of Hvaral provides a place where the Sand Barges can pick up passengers. The barges travel from Hvaral to Muspar'i and make a brief stop at the oasis near Haizen Cugis between the two locations. This service is provided to passengers free of charge.

In order to reach this dock from Therenborough you must have obtained a passport. Without one, you will not be able to travel past Fornsted.

A dock extends from the stone roadway here, hanging out over a low-lying mountain road. No water here, and certainly no ships, Hvaral's Dry Dock is serviced by barges pulled by somewhat strange looking beasts. Outside the protection of the wall, arid mountain winds sting the faces of those who would dare to tarry in the open. Officials in Therengia's blue and gold livery thoroughly inspect rows of crates and barrels that litter the dock, awaiting either import or export.
