Grey clay soldier
Crafted by some unknown mage, the clay soldier is a life-sized representation of an actual warrior, cast in some sort of hardened clay. Its face is beautiful and perfect but also completely expressionless and unmoving, and the construct moves in a rather artificial manner not unlike a puppet pulled by strings. Despite its unnatural movements, it seems more than capable of handling itself in a fight.
Typically mass-crafted from a single mold, the clay soldier is a fine example of animation magic, made as guardians to protect home and hearth in a time when most people were off fighting.
Hollow inside and therefore somewhat fragile, the clay soldier is rather prone to being damaged if it falls over, despite its graceful puppet-like movements.
This particular make of clay soldier is particularly old, though they have likely found a way to mass-produce themselves despite their original creators being long gone. Though what they guarded is also long gone, they still steadfastly protect against intruders of all sorts.
They are not known to cast any recognized spells.
They are known to carry loot in locked boxes.
Soldiers will occasionally throw a clay orb on the ground causing it to shatter and send shard flying.

Note: Shards must be gone, never seen one. fragments untended will continue to make the wound worse, might start with a small wound, will worsen if untended until death.
Soldiers cannot be manipulated.
Soldiers are affected by Paralysis, Lethargy and Innocence
The soldier appears immune to all poisons, puncture and electricity.
Empath - tatics cap at 397, all amours dabbling at 234ish, evasion still dabbling at 243 - same for mages and archers - all weak to blunt weapons, resistant to piercing -Tymbri
Was able to start hitting soldiers with ranged weapons at 120 skill and 168 mastery.
Melee weapons are hitting well at 120 and 254 mastery.
Tactics still locking at 253.
