Usage Documentation

This template is for use with weapons that are non-crafted or derivatives thereof. Please consult the Manual of Style for information on listing crafted items. This is also for use with brawling weapons and parry sticks.
Currently the only special properties this page is set up to display is magical and cambrinth equipment. If you have other suggestions, please list them on the discussion page.

Variable Supported Values Usage
brawl y/n Whether this is a brawling related item. This is REQUIRED to process brawling equipment properly. This form will add it automatically.
name name of the object if it's different than the page name
look <text>/- the description gained by LOOKing at it. "-" will trigger "You see nothing unusual."
noun the single word noun used to interact with it

ammo rock/bolt/arrow/dart/thrown Ammo type used, or thrown. Leave blank if not appropriate.
ammocap # How much ammo can it hold, for repeating crossbows or others Leave blank if not appropriate.
rangedRT # The base RT of the ranged weapon, when loading from a non-quiver, without any stat-related reductions
drawstrength (draw strength) The draw strength value of a bow. Leave blank or omit for non-bows.
adraw y/n Is the draw strength adjuststable? Leave blank or omit for non-bows.

foi# -/(foi) Force of Impact value of weapon, additional fields for other modes.
balance# -/(balance) Balance value of weapon, additional fields for other modes. Put "-" to remove both balance and suitability for ammunition articles.
suitedness# (suitedness) Suitedness value of weapon, additional fields for other modes. Leave blank for ammunition articles.
construction (construction) Construction value of weapon
metal y/n Is it made with metal and therefore repairable at a metal forge
weight # weight in stones
appcost # The cost given by an expert (trader preferred) appraisal. Given in kronars.
special# magic/creation/cambrinth/(race) style/(guild) style/light Any special properties. With regard to the guild and race styles, only list them if the item has a specific use for that group, or a person ignorant of the source of the item would believe the item is styled for that guild or race.
maxcharge # If cambrinth, the maximum mana that can be held by it
sourcetype# -/sold by/other Gives the appropriate display of the source of the item. If the item is only dropped by creatures, mark the first field as "-". Note: "dropped by" is now handled by script.
source# (source)+(source version 2)+... Where the item comes from. If sourcetype is "dropped by" or "sold by", links auto generated. If there are multiple versions of a store selling the item at the same cost, list them with the "+".
cost# # Kronars\Lirums\Dokoras If sold, the cost at the preceeding shop, otherwise leave blank. Include currency.
newapp true/false This property declares that this item has been updated since the appraisal changes.
list A way to change how an item is listed in categories.
rare true/false Used to explicitly declare that an item is not commonly available at a shop or creature drop.
