Roars are a Barbarian's means of intimidating a foe into flight or doubting their own abilities. The primary statistic for enhancing Roars is Charisma, though Strength, Stamina, and skill with the weapon in hand may play a part in some Roars.

Roars may be additionally boosted with the use of Berserk Nightmare, Roar Helms, or Warpaint, and defended against via Roar Cloaks.

The general consensus of the Barbarian community is that Battlecries (those marked with asterisks) are nearly useless. While they may have an effect, the loss of a roar slot and the necessity of hunting with others is almost never worth it.

Beware of roaring within the boundaries of a town, as the majority of the time it is considered a crime and will garner you a warrant.

Below is just a basic listing of the Roars available to Barbarians. Check Phii's Keep for a excellent, detailed listing of Barbarian Roars.
