Roar helms/faceplate provide a triggered boost to a [[guild association is::Barbarian]]'s intimidation for the purposes of [[Roars|roar]]ing.
Roar helms/faceplate boost roar your effective roar strength. Roar helms come in two flavors either leather or chain. There is a neutral chain helm which will take on the characteristic of which ever chain armor is higher of the two available.

It should be noted that only the helms provide actual armor protection while the face plates function only as a booster to your roars.
Roar helms and faceplates come in all types of armor. Faceplates cover the eyes and are meant to be combined with forged or tanned head armor.

Masks are identical to the helms and faceplates, except that they provide no protection, but will prevent the wearing of head armor.

After about 15-20 seconds you receive the following message indicating that you are no longer receiving the bonus to your roars.

There is no down time to continue using the helm and there are also no associated charges as it is non-magical in nature. There is, however, a 10 second round time to remove the helm. This is done to prevent folks from swapping out the helm with something less hindering after receiving the bonus from using the helm.

Upon SCREAMing at the item, there is approximately 15-20 seconds in which Roars are boosted, after which intimidation is returned to normal. The ending of the boost period is announced by the message:
The helms and face plates are considered semi-rare items and generally fetch anywhere from 700 platinum to 1000 platinum in the Prime server depending on the seller and the current availability of helms at the moment.

Overview

Roar helms/faceplate provide a triggered boost to a Barbarian's intimidation for the purposes of roaring.

Roar Helms\Faceplates

Roar helms and faceplates come in all types of armor. Faceplates cover the eyes and are meant to be combined with forged or tanned head armor.

Roar Masks

Masks are identical to the helms and faceplates, except that they provide no protection, but will prevent the wearing of head armor.

Syntax

  • SCREAM HELM
A feral scream rips from your lungs and shakes your spiked helm to trembling. You feel terrifying.
Roundtime: 2 seconds.
  • REMOVE HELM
You carefully remove your spiked helm.
Roundtime: 10 seconds.
  • WEAR HELM
You place your helm on your head and secure its straps.
