Perhaps she employed Ralel, and gave him such wide latitude in his affairs, in order that she may have a counterbalancing force against [[Sidhlot]]; one Necromancer to combat another...

Scion of Forest Elf nobility, Ralel's family has long since lost much of its influence and stature. Nevertheless, Ralel managed to wed the woman who would become the Mayor of Leth Deriel, city of the Forest Elves.
