A group of adventurers set out to make a pilgrimage to try to ease some of Drogor's wrath. The pilgrims departed the Crossing docks at night in a torrent of stinging rain and managed to find safe harbor on Aesry. Strange things were seen in the perilous waters, the sky crackling with strange marine lightning, and members of the group experienced strange sensations - often times imagining they had become an albatross, shark, or dolphin. Offerings were made at the island's shrines to Lemicus, Eluned, and Drogor. While the group departed with a feeling of some success, there was a sense Drogor's wrath had not yet abated. While on their return trip from the island, the streets of Crossing were again over run with Drogor's minions.

Special thanks Sendithu and Liurilias for organizing the event. Below is a log of some of the notable things that happened.

Water slaps against the docks, and the docked boats with a slightly angry sound.
The tidewaters rise up higher, and if you didn't know better they seem... appreciative, somehow.
A net of marine-hued lightning covers the ship's bell for a moment, crackling deeply before vanishing.
A net of marine-hued lightning covers the ship's bell and around the spoked wheel. It travels over the ship's sides, giving the entire vessel a glow. You are certain that from the distance you look very much like a ghost ship riding the waves. And suddenly, it is gone.
Waves rise up and nearly over the sides as you move through the waters. In the distance, you are certain you see a pod of dolphins swimming with a group of sharks.
A net of marine-hued lightning covers the ship's bell and around the spoked wheel. It travels over the ship's sides, giving the entire vessel a glow. It pulses once, and then again before going dark.

The form of a beast, large and humanoid looms in the distance. From what you recall, this creature looks like a kraken of legend and myth. Thankfully, it does not appear to be getting closer, only watching you curiously. For now, anyway.

The feeling of smooth dolphin skin encompasses you like a cloak. Within mere seconds, the feeling changes to that of sharkskin. For several minutes the sensation goes back and forth between the two, until finally sharkskin seems to win out as it lasts for several moments and the encompassing tactility fades.

[On the Eluned prayer gate] The mother-of-pearl walls of the arch takes on an eerie hue, as marine colored lightning creeps up the sides and covers the entire structure, much like netting would. The lightning crackles and spits, and then like a reverse growing ivy it simply retreats downward and disappears into the ground.

Reira says, "Did you not hear me i really think he wants Eluned to accept him."
Reira says, "Likje she does Lemicus."
Reira is surrounded by a strong cobalt glow, which fades gradually.

Reira says, "Mayhaps wants those that offer to eluned and Lemicus to also see and accept him."
Reira is surrounded by a strong cobalt light behind her, and a glow around her head resembling a crown of shark's teeth before it fades completely.

Liurilias says, "So now that it seems some are starting to understand the reason for this pilgrimage..."
Liurilias says, "It is a reminder that no aspect should be ignored in your worship of an Immortal."
Liurilias says, "Though your soul may speak to the Light or the Balance or the Dark..."

[After offerings were made to Lemicus] The feeling of warm downy feathers encompasses you, like a coat. You feel safe, warm and loved. For a brief moment you see yourself on wing, flying above the waters, before you release you never left this spot. A faint image of a smiling woman wavers before you, but behind her is an even more tangible vision of a man who appears to be glowering slightly.

[After offerings were made to Eluned] You suddenly are a dolphin, joyously leaping among the waves with others in your pod. You are carefree, without worry. A kindly looking female face looks down at you, and strokes your bottlenose. But, behind her is the glowering man again -- although he seems somehow softer looking behind this woman. The sensation fades and you realize you never left this room.

Gwenddolyn says, "My advice to him is get over it already."
Gwenddolyn chuckles.

A crack of wet thunder sounds, accompanied by the stagnant and pungent smell of brine. Within the blink of an eye, a blast of marine-blue forked lightning appears from above.

The smell of brine grows stronger, but is accompanied now by the stench of burnt flesh, as the marine-hued lightning seeks its target, Gwenddolyn. As quickly as it appeared, the entity dissipates now that its divine work is complete.

Saldszar sheathes his shark-toothed mace.

Gwenddolyn says, "How to make an angry immortal not angry."

Gwenddolyn stops listening to Klurn.

A soft red glow appears over Gwenddolyn's body.
A light silvery glow surrounds Gwenddolyn's shark tooth in her hand.

>l gwen all
You see Gwenddolyn MacAlhaismorien-Taleison, Leader, an Elf.
Gwenddolyn has no head at the moment. She has fair skin and a lithe figure.
She is tall for an Elf.
She appears to be young.
Her forearm has a tattoo of elaborately entwined knotwork dragons that curve their heads inward to grasp onto the other's tail.

She appears to be dead! Other than that...

She has a pulpy stump for a head.

Liurilias says, "Let that be a lesson to you..."
Liurilias says, "It's never wise to taunt an Immortal."
Liurilias says, "Especially not in the shrine dedicated to Him."

[After offerings were made to Drogor.] You find yourself as a mighty great white shark. You are lord of your domain, king of the ocean and terror of all you survey. You watch with glee and mirth as smaller marine life flees from you, and unwitting creatures get caught in your massive jaws. Your sleek body moves with grace and precision that you are not used to, but it fills you with pride. Your vision goes dark and you find yourself looking into the face of a young man. He is neither smiling or frowning, but looks stern -- yet pleased. You sense he is not one of those to be trifled with, and will never be completely satisfied with anything. He shrugs slightly, and you are unsure what this means, as you contemplate, you find yourself back in this spot.

Kerenelle says, "Forgive us, Drogor, for not honoring and accepting you."
Kerenelle begins to glow a bright cobalt blue for a brief moment.

Mithik calmly says, "I would only make sense that we accept our own faults, since this is a mission of acceptance. I offer my sincerest apologies and ask forgiveness from Drogor."
Mithik begins to glow a bright cobalt blue for a brief moment.

You hear the ghostly voice of Gwenddolyn say, "Well I was trying to give the offereing in my hand as an apology."
A faint cobalt outline surrounds Gwenddolyn briefly.

The room glows alight with a fiery marine-hued glow. The light becomes so intense that your eyes can barely see properly. With a white flash, the glow disappears, and all appears normal, except for the spots that dot your vision now.
[Moments later, Crossing came under attack.]
