About Berries & Ink

Berries & Ink is an Elanthian arts and literary journal that will be delivered through the mail on the 1st of each month for 10 months (March 1st through December 1st, 2024). Every issue will be bursting with creative energy, showcasing the talents of Elanthia's finest writers and artists!

Subscriptions

Every month subscribers will receive poetry, lyrics, short stories, personal essays, recipes, drawings, illustrations, comics, and/or more fun surprises delivered to their mailboxes! We had over 100 subscribers our first month!

There is a nominal charge of 2 plat total for 10 issues (2 gold per issue, this is less than the actual cost of mailing an issue), or free, or however much you feel like donating. (Friendly reminder that F2P accounts cannot receive mail and thus are unable to receive a subscription.)

Due to restrictions in mail sending capacity, we will pause your subscription if you have not checked your mail and picked up the previous issue. If you would like to receive the next issue, please do remember to collect your mail! Thank you for your understanding!

Submissions

Flex your creative muscles! Spread joy and happiness! Become a real published author! Reach potentially dozens of readers each month!


We are looking for:

  • Poetry
  • Lyrics
  • Short Stories
  • Personal Essays
  • Recipes
  • Drawings/Paintings/Illustrations
  • Comics
  • Jokes/Riddles or Puzzles/Games of some sort
  • Open to mixed media/creative works including fold-outs, inserts, etc (as long as it makes sense for the format)
  • Any other creative ideas you may have, feel free to let us know!
