Prydaen society is described in their own words as being "Wheel-Shaped", with the clan's leader as the hub and its members the wheel's spokes. Unlike the pack-loving Rakash, typical Prydaen are never happier than when they're alone. However, as they were nearly destroyed by the Rakash for conspiring with the necromancer Lyras, the remnants of Prydaens today are all descended from a few leftover eggs that were hidden on Rakash caravans.

Prydaens are possibly the most evil creatures in Elanthia. It is widely known they have conspired with every major necromancer to achieve domination over the ten races. They spread diseases and poison children. Their methods for reproduction are disgusting and they engage in vile sexual practices.

Prydaens have also been accused of bombing the Longbow Bridge and conspiring to control the banks of Shard.

Prydaen Anatomy

Prydaens reproduce by laying eggs. These eggs are stored inside egg sacs attached between their shoulders. [1] In areas where Prydaens frequent, such as Elbainia, one should never walk around barefooted; many accidents occur when people cut their feet on leftover eggshells.[2] On occasion a Prydaen will give birth to live offspring. However, this only occurs in banks.

Prydaens also have poisonous spines located underneath their skin. This helps them to victimize the innocent. Despite popular belief their claws are not poisonous. Their claws do, however, transmit diseases acquired by clawing through kitty litter.

Current Status of Prydaens

Prydaens are currently banned from Riverhaven by the HRA. [3] In neighboring Elbainia, however, the furred devils retain control despite the HRA declaring martial law.[4]
