Weapons

a thin black staff capped with a damite and crystal sphere
The metal shaft of this enigmatic staff is inlaid with a series of thin cambrinth veins, reaching upward toward the sphere capping the top. The sparkling crystal set into dark damite pulses with subtle magic, ready to provide illumination.

a blackened gloomwood slingshot with a nightsilk band
The rich wood of the shaft has been slightly seared to provide a darker purple, while the band has been dyed black to ensure it could be practically misplaced in shadows. Dark silks pad the handle to ensure that no sound is made to alert potential prey to the danger before it's too late.

a lithe parrying edge
Thick chains composed of finely forged kertig links wrap around softened seal leather, cunningly crafted to hold the gracefully curved blade in place even in the deepest throes of combat. Skillfully embossed into the leather is the image of a woman with tightly shut eyes, her body and face at rest. The kertig chains crisscross across the woman's silhouette in the leather, giving the impression of the figure being bound while in a deep slumber.

a diminutive dragonwood parry stick set with blackened steel fittings
Swirled around the rich, dark wood's natural scale-like grain, the metal glints darkly as the light plays across the subtle crosshatched pattern etched into its surface. Worked from the same blackened steel, simple orb-shaped caps are affixed to both ends, tiny loops upon their undersides holding sturdy leather straps for securing the wearer's comfort and safety when in use.

damite-legged blade spider attached to carved sapphire waves
Perched upon the carved stone handle to look like it is riding upon a turbulent sea, the metallic arachnid also has an elaborate enameled butterfly attached to its back. The spider seems to be deliberately stylized, with each outstretched leg appearing as sharp as a real blade spider's natural weapons, but the rest of it resembling more of a mechanical Gnomic contraption. Further detail on the faceted eyes shows the outlines of a Rakash man and a small Gnome woman, the latter holding onto a lever.

stout blackjack with one end shaped like a dragon's paw
The ironwood grip of the bludgeon seamlessly transitions into the dark red vardite that emulates a rearing dragon's paw. Serrated studs jut outward from where the beast's claws would be, as if to rend flesh as maliciously as the vicious creature that inspired its shape.

a lamp-black tyrium iltesh with a sawtooth edge crafted from spindly tomiek
The ruinously sharp tyrium blade is accented by razor-sharp tomiek insets lining its edge, creating a means to viciously shred as well as stab. The deadly mix of tyrium and tomiek blossoms out from fibrous layers of blackened chitinous metal that makes up the hilt, its guard shaped like the clawed fist of a chthonic beast.

a chitin-plated bola studded with gems glimmering in unearthly blue-green hues
Heavy sheets of tomiek wrap around themselves to form a series of diminutive but deadly spheres designed to severely maul a foe in the proper hands. For added effect, thick glaes rods capped with highly polished spectrolite cabochons pierce the blackened metal orbs. The initials "R. R." are impressed into the surface of the metal.

Armor/Shields

a faintly glowing chitinous buckler illuminated by a loimic and moonsilver boss
Transmuted by the indigo opalescence its corrupted star-iron core, silvery blue luminescence bathes the surface of the buckler, distorting shadows over its segmented surface. Thick and thin plates of tomiek alternate in a chaotic circular pattern outward from its center, providing a surface designed to either deflect or snag a blade, dependent on the wearer's wishes and skill.

a prismatic sipar framed by tomiek scrollwork
Lacquered across a haledroth shell, vibrant strips of color form a rainbow ouroboros. A fine pattern of gears inlaid in tomiek encircles the outer edge, with the occasional intrepid mouse trying to squeeze between their teeth. Burned into the leather carrying strap are the initials "R. R."

a dark leather cowl mounted with a xenomite faceplate of a sleeping woman
Thick strips of nightmare black leather firmly grip the stony visage of the resting woman in place. While the faceplate's overall expression seems to be that of peaceful rest at a distance, rough rivulets carved into the corners of her shut eyes suggest a struggle to either stay asleep or wake back up.

a bronzed balaclava molded into a Gnomish woman's smiling visage
The serene gaze of painted blue eyes on the Gnomish woman's face is betrayed only by a series of barely visible dings and dents set into the hammered bronze. Upon closer inspection, the scarred metal reveals that the expression upon the face is that of a proud determination rather then a simple smile.

some silversteel gewgaws shaped into gloves
Sprouting from the gloves are dozens of tools and assorted devices intended to help with all kinds of daily events the modern adventurer may face: a glarmencoupler, for something, a flarmencrank, for something else, and most importantly half of what may be an orlog. Each glove ends in a large silversteel valve, allowing the wearer to tighten down the gloves for a tighter, if questionably more comfortable, fit.

a mottled ruddy black verenite inlaid balaclava mounted with a stoic woman's visage
The meticulous inlay frames the Gnomish face, its ever-shifting colors granting a surprising range of emotions to the lifeless mask. Inscribed into the back of the balaclava is a dedication, "For one who struggles to put her best face forward -- Uwresari".

a fine mesh balaclava mounted with the tyrium visage of a woman's stolid stare
Multiple layers of tightly looped rings offer the promise of reliable protection, while the emotionless gaze of the ornamental Gnomish woman's face on the mask belies any expressions the wearer may bear during the throes of war.

a stout damite shield wreathed in glaes scrollwork
Winding and twisting scroll work surrounds the edges of this Gnome-sized shield, each section appearing to be blueprints for devices and instructions on how they work. The small pictures and words seem too convoluted to be sane or even usable. Gnomish words are mixed in with Common words, making the whole thing seem an even more bizarre use of the rare metals.

some fine mesh gauntlets overlaid with crisscrossing tyrium strips
Tightly looped rings wrap around the soft leather padding underneath these gloves, ensuring both comfort and protection in the midst of war. Adjustable tyrium strips cascade down the back of the gloves and bend outward at the cuff, causing the chained rings to flare outward and affording the wearer extra wrist movement for the most intricate of tactical actions while maintaining maximum protection.

Clothing/Containers

a black leather craftsman's cap
A patchwork field of dark ebony leather marred with myriad pitted chemical burns, deep scratches and singes forms a protective shell over a layer of smooth, slightly padded cotton. Though doing nothing to relieve the tightness of fit, the softer, woven lining provides what little comfort that can be found in such a garment. Resting at the back of the cap, an adjustable band ensures that an errant breeze -- or unfortunate explosion -- does not expose the wearer's skin to any foreign materials.

a snug black wrap
Well-concealed pouches containing random notes, devices and writing tools line the darkly dyed woolen piece, while a series of electrum buttons ensure that the multiple loops running down the middle provide the best fit possible.

a double-wide black leather valise
Sheer and soft to the touch, a fine layer of whisperlayne lines the inside of the spacious trunk. Separated into two components to grant the user a way to easily sort through the contents within, this stylish carrying case is sealed with a moonsilver clasp shaped into a series of interlocking gears. Supple leather is crafted into a pair of straps to allow the container to easily rest on someone's back.

a black leather craftsman's apron
While cut for a very diminutive figure, this apron has a second layer of leather reinforcing it that is stitched in with a subtle crosshatched pattern of dark ebony. Judging by the deep gouges, scorch marks, and chemical splatters that mar the otherwise spartan surface, the decision was well justified.

a bespoke shadesatin shirt dyed in rich eventide hues
Tailored in a serious yet playful style, swirls of crushed nightfire opals and haze sapphires dance across the pitch-black fabric to create a dazzling depiction of a starry night sky. Glittery diamond-hide peeks out from the the garment's open neck, providing a layer of protection underneath the lustrous layer of shadesatin, while tomiek fasteners at the cuffs and down the placket ensure a proper fit for any circumstances faced by the wearer.

a lava drake-hide leather toolbelt clasped with silversteel rings
Multiple pockets, hoops, loops, and straps allow this belt the ability to contain the tools needed in a wide variety of crafts. The darkened lava-drake hide is thick enough to resist any errant singes, stains, and slashes encountered while crafting along with any stretching that takes place when being stuffed full of incredibly sharp tools. Strong silversteel clasps allow the expansive toolbelt to fit snugly against the user, preventing it from awkwardly sagging while loaded with equipment.

Verb Actions
POKE First Person: You eagerly poke through your toolbelt, stopping on occasion to carefully consider one bauble or another, in the hopes of finding the right one for your project.

some black leather suspenders with firestained silver fittings
Grey leather piping edges the black. Blasted across the surface of the fittings is a unique, purple-edged design of a vortex of flame.
Notes: Holds up to 5 of the following items: blade, dagger, staff, slingshot, bola, latchbow

some eclipse-hued pants woven from tightly bound wildlace
Thin strands of red, gold, and orange mingle with thick cables of black and purple, creating a wildlace pattern of shifting hues reminiscent of the world's light being consumed by an unending void. Tiny tomiek clasps placed at key points allow the wearer to adjust the form-fitting garment for maximum comfort and ease of movement without betraying the design.

a violently churning eddy of dazzling light imprisoned within a loimic cage
Spidery veins inlaid with shadow emerald form tiny symbols that decorate the edges of the unorthodox prison, its hefty links of corrupted star-iron extending from the outer frame to embrace its luminous prisoner. Constrained within the otherworldly glow, a barely visible pocket rests within that can be accessed with minimal struggle.

a black leather archivist's bag
Stamps, patches, and seals from a number of academic institutions stand out against the darkened leather as if flaunting the educational pedigree of whomever posses this bag. In contrast to the amalgamation of accreditations outside, the soft wool lining focuses strictly on keeping its contents secure from the outside elements. A thick adjustable strap allows the user to wear it in a multitude of ways and maximize the visibility of the impressive adornment.

a blackened faeweave satchel bound tightly with sanguine strips of Imperial weave
Numerous clamps, straps, pouches, and sheathes decorate almost every inch of the utilitarian bag both inside and out, ensuring space for many tools or treasures. Thick buttons and zips reinforce each compartment, ensuring preparation for most disasters that could strike the wearer, both natural or unnatural. Thick strips of Imperial weave embrace the fae-woven silk tightly and cinch the satchel slightly, the two rare fabrics locked together but neither one quite dominating.

a pouch composed of thousands of tiny brass rings
Each interlocking ring is punched from flatted sheet metal in the shape of a tiny, hollow gear. A large steel spring coils through the mouth of the container, securing the pouch with a few clockwise twists.

Jewelry

a bow-laden wristband clasped with a Dalaeji black sapphire
A series of fourteen bows twisted into bushes run along a band embroidered with a series of small bunnies. Peeking out from behind the bow-bushes, the bunnies appear to be attempting to stay out of sight. Clasping the wristband tightly, even the shadowy black sapphire appears to have small lop-eared bunny somehow hiding amidst its gold-enclosed halo.

a thick chitinous ring crowned with a brilliant moonspun ruby
Deep black tomiek is offset by the generously portioned deep rose ruby clasped within the ring's seemingly exoskeletal prongs. Its fractured silver glint erupts from the center, producing an effect reminiscent of a blackened night sky besieged by an ominously lit bolt of lightning whenever it catches the light.

a petite glaes bar earring
The center of the otherwise solid bar of blue-black metal is twisted into a delicate bow. Cunningly hidden within the folds of the bow lies a diminutive serpent, scowling at its dainty enclosure.

a series of pint-sized animite whiskers twisted into a medallion
The slivery-black whiskers, which seem to have come from a disassembled wire brush, are coated with a fine oily sheen. Despite the utter lack of order or reason in the chaotic spiral, a vague suggestion of a heart surrounded by a series of cogs and gears has arisen within the wiry jumble. A small dial that ranges from "healthy" to "extra healthy" is mounted on the back of the tangled mass.

a complex clockwork pin surrounded by cameos displaying wriggling leeches
The central pin consists of glarmencouplers and gears that match up with gears on the back of the surrounding cameos.
Notes: Pin can also display crumpled tickets, glittering rings, depressed boggles, and smashed pumpkins.

a golden-yellow carp with a large mouth
A small button is hidden neatly on the bottom of the carp.

a thin icesteel skinning knife with a simple darkspine hilt
Cambrinth rivets shaped into eyes secure a fine leather strap to the blue-black streaked petrified wood handguard for ease of use, while the blade is intricately etched. Starting from within the opalized grip, multi-limbed beasts creep toward a sleeping woman who rests on the blade, each creature's head split by a maw warped into a rictus grin. Frowning uneasily, the prone woman is unaware of a predator's mouth hovering just at her feet.

a black gold fist with loimic-tipped fingers grasping empty air/a black gold fist covetously clutching a palace-shaped Imperial coral around its loimic-tipped fingers
Tipped with opalescent nails made of loimic, gnarled fingers covetously grasp for treasure within its diminutive palm, as if to greedily guard it from outside forces.

a lamp-black tomiek cowbell shaped into a leviathan's maw
A frame of chitinous black tomiek has been hammered into an endless roar, with a sliver of loimic acting as both the instrument's clapper and the creature's protruding bulbous dark blue tongue. Two faceted black gold eyes of oval glare outward, giving the creature a menacing mien as it gazes up at the stylized harpoon-shaped ivory wrist loop.

Other

a blackened thurible streaked with moonsilver veins
Moonsilver threads run through the censer's spidery grooves, creating a chaotic pattern that follows no recognizable logic. A subtle embossed band runs along the diameter, displaying a series of slitted eyes in different stages of opening and closing. Allowing the piece to be secured to the owner's belt is a slender chain of the silvery glowing metal.

a thin icesteel canister
A delicate sigil shimmering with subtle magic is embossed onto the frost-blue metal's lid, while softened leather straps allow it to be secured tightly and discreetly to a thigh. A churning clump of loam slowly shedding dirt can be faintly seen through the white-swirled translucent metal, although the source of its motion and how it keeps releasing dirt is indeterminable.

tiny research journal set with silversteel-infused Gnomish kocho
Set into a protective resin, the button-like flowers are trimmed into diminutive gears and collectively depict a small woman resting inside a field. Debossed into the onyx-hide leather, faint images resembling shadows surround her. A pale amber-hued sand golem eye is inset into the latch, positioned as if keeping watch over the contents within.

a miniature tomiek-iguji broodling bearing loimic limbs
Presenting a small metronome-like pattern inlaid in its chitinous black tomiek carapace, mistglass-shielded eyes whirr and click when activated, giving the biomechanical beast a false impression of life. Its limbs, sheathed in the vibrantly colored and heavily corrupted star-iron, guard a series of diminutive anjisis-capped levers, buttons, and dials -- all sized for delicate Gnomish hands -- along its abdomen.

a tiny silversteel figurine of a sleeping Gnome woman
Small enough to fit into a child's palm, the fine details of a woman lying at rest have been painstakingly etched into the pale metal. Despite being made of nearly impervious metal, the figurine shows signs of distress around the top back of its head.

a blackened icesteel orlog depicting a lidless eye
Gears in various states of decay, their original functions long abandoned, can be seen through the transparent metal sealing them away. A dark soot-like coating covering the device appears to be smeared, resulting in fingerprints of various sizes, with one incredibly thin series of streaks seemingly created by something with very gaunt digits. The crude depiction of an eye is unblinking, as if unable to stop taking in all that is happening around it.

an unassuming coralite puzzle box covered in intricate tomiek filigree
Black gold-veined coralite forms what appears to be a solid cube accented by thin plates of chitinous metal arranged on each face. Any perceived simplicity is betrayed by a series of sliding panels, button configurations, and partially obscured mechanisms that cover each face of the curious device. An abstract design of outward-facing triangles surrounding an almond shape cleverly conceals a single keyhole on one face of the box.

a fashionably robed bobblehead with an excessively large noddle
Straining from the weight of its task, a thick tyrium spring connects the finely crafted toy's overly expansive cranium to its starry black moonspun silk robe-covered base. A tiny faceted ruby pendant is pinned to its chest, while a small nametag sewn into its hem clearly started with the letter "D" but is painted over with the name "Noggin."

a small haralun-plated reliquary holding a bean plant carved from a glacier emerald
Its vines spilling out from a mound of animite gravel placed in the dark metal container, the plant features multiple hollows resembling bean pods delicately carved into its pale green surface. Each pod is excessively polished, as if they were rubbed more often than the rest of the carving.

a miniature iroko carton with "Izule Dokshahi Izule Choskshi" burnt onto the lid
Stained glass windows depicting flasks and bottles are set into the darkened iroko panel doors that seal this petite cabinet. Layers of dense wool woven from the shaggy Albarian ruazen ratav lines the inside, ensuring that anything carried is safe from harm, while a thick leather strap provides comfort to anyone who chooses to carry it on their shoulder.

a tiny clockwork sycophant
The tired-looking figure dressed in stained robes displays various expressions of mortification and servility, its lifelike movements showing a sense of fatalistic self-abnegation. A tarnished and dented mace hangs off a sagging sheath while a frayed satchel, containing a battered and torn tome, lolls off its frail shoulder.

a stiff bast wallet clasped with a xenomite shh'oi paguur paw
l Carved out of a shard of xenomite, an emaciated-looking monkey paw holds the waterproofed wallet shut in an attempt to ward off any attempts to access the contents within. Heavy scuff marks mar the silk lining inside, a result of carelessly packing in more than what the wallet should hold.

a simple seal leather purse bearing a small animite charm
Dyed a flat black, this unobtrusive accessory has a slightly scuffed ruazen wool lining from objects being hastily stuffed inside. A whimsical charm shaped into a portly Gnome with twinkling eyes and comically oversized front teeth is delicately pinned to the otherwise unmarred soft leather surface.

an Imperial weave bound grimoire with purple felwood peeking through a tear
Corner guards of pitted loimic pierce each corner of the heavy tome, adhering the ancient cloth to the cover inlaid with a single silver-infused Gnomish koncho. The indigo hardware closely matches the strikingly purple wood forming the inside cover. Dull orange vardite clasps line the inside spine, ready to secure any sort of pages within.
Notes: Spells removed are placed on rancid vellum scrolls.

a dog-eared leather textbook littered with colorful markers
Scars dotting the cover of this tome hint at a long history of abuse. Detailed anatomical illustrations, once suited to educate, bear menacing scowls and wave oversized swords, axes, and clubs at each other. A large X over one drawing's eye indicates his bad luck in the battle. Thick white letters spell out "The Big Book of Elanthian Troublemakers" along the lower edge of the front, while colorful bits of paper extend from within, scribbled with "Fight!", "Run!", and "Kinda nice, actually!"

a simple black tome titled "The Best Locks"
Though the title on the front of the book lines up nicely, the letters running down the spine are very oddly spaced. Close inspection reveals dark patches of ink blotting out the title, cunningly matched to blend in with the darkened leather that wraps around the tome. Careful examination of the gold foil that plays with the lighting underneath the ink reveals the book's real title to be "The Best Gnomish Locksmith".

an icesteel mini-skillet with a shadowleaf-wrapped grip
Tiny slices of bacon etched along the edge of the well-seasoned skillet are the only decoration to an otherwise austere tool. A faint whiff of smoked seasoning emanates from the transparent metal.
Note: Makes a bacon and grilled cheese sandwich, a soft pink bottle of Gizzy's Good Day ale painted with a drunken rabbit, and a slice of bacon stout chocolate cheesecake

a shockingly pink coralite grill pan hammered into the form of an imposing reef
Inherently infused within the pink-hued metal, green gold inclusions natively form labyrinthine patterns along the cookware's rim, while a twisted tomiek throng of deeplight fish, desiccated Merelew, and rockclaw lobsters are positioned within the convoluted striae, caught in the middle of trying to escape their malevolent grasp. A thick handle of oceanmist satin-wrapped tamboti extends outwards from the craggy exterior of the oblong pan, jutting out like a harpoon stabbed into the side of a reef.
Note: Makes a seared butter-infused decapod canape wrapped in a twist of smoky bacon.
