Consequences

  • Glass orbs can now be used by all guilds. The orbs are necromantically powered, and guilds such as Clerics, Paladins, and Empaths will have guild-related consequences to summoning one.
  • Using orbs in a justice area causes a large amount Social Outrage.
  • Using orbs causes Divine Outrage regardless of the location.
  • Glass orbs no longer lock their creator PvP Open.
  • Breaking a glass orb no longer causes heavy stun and vitality damage. Throwing an orb does have that downside.

Verbs

It occurs to you that you could CLEAN, EAT, EXHALE, JUGGLE, PEER, SHAKE, or TAP the glass octahedron.
You are also fairly certainly you could BREAK (or THROW) the glass octahedron, since it is naught but fragile glass.
  • BREAK: You crush your glass orb in your hand like a frail egg shell, driving the shards deeply into the flesh your hand. Nothing unusual happens at first as driblets of blood seep between your fingers to softly patter below.

Drip. Drip. Drip.

The jagged shards warm suddenly as they soak in your blood moments before an indescribable quantity of pain crashes through you, sending you reeling. The blood is torn from your veins, flowing into a quickly growing creature before you. Life flags from your body as coherent thought is driven from you as the creature continues to feed.
Finally the feeding stops, leaving you greatly weakened, but alive.

Before you stands a [size] glass construct, formed of naught but your blood, you will, and glass. Imbued with only one emotion, the glass construct gazes about, assessing where best to start the carnage.
Roundtime: 30 seconds.

  • THROW: (Spawns the construct at melee with your target.)

  • FOCUS: Traces of magic swirl through the glass orb, somehow reminiscent of your knowledge of Analogous Patterns. Concealed beneath this is a secondary pattern of Corruption, which in turns disguises the Animation magics which ultimately resides within.

  • CLEAN: You carefully buff your glass orb, cleaning away a few specks of dirt and grime.
  • EAT: You briefly consider popping the glass orb into your mouth, but ultimately decide that glass shards would make a poor meal.
  • EXHALE: You exhale slowly on your glass orb, fogging the surface slightly.
  • JUGGLE: You softly lob your glass orb in the air several time, carefully following its trajectory to prevent dropping it.

Unfortunately you manage to botch this simple task, causing the glass orb to fall to the ground and shatters into a million pieces.

  • PEER: You peer into the depths of your glass orb and discover the slow swirling of mists inside slightly mesmerizing.
  • SHAKE: You shake your glass orb, causing the mists within to swirl rapidly.
  • TAP: You tap your glass orb, causing it to ring softly.
