Forging Factor is a player-created term to describe one's aptitude for forging metal weapons and armor.
Formulae
The formula for weapons is:
(weapon skill * 0.6) + (average of related weapon skills * 0.3) + (Mechanical Lore * 0.1)
The formula for armor is:
(armor skill * 0.6) + (related armor * 0.3) + (Mechanical Lore * 0.1)
Skill Families
The weapon families are:
- Twohanded Edged, Heavy Edged, Medium Edged, Light Edged
- Twohanded Blunt, Heavy Blunt, Medium Blunt, Light Blunt
The armor families are:
- Heavy Plate and Light Plate
