Sana'ati heart

Kept a very well-guarded secret until recently by the Rose Sisters of Ain Ghazal, the sana'ati heart is extracted already hardened from living trees as clear amber tinted with red. It is said that the gems are harvested from the spot on the trunk where the branches begin to spread. Old Ain Ghazal legend has it that the Sana'ati Dyaus tree of Leth Deriel has magical sana'ati hearts the size of a person's fist.

A huge sana'ati heart was sold in a pouch at the Magma Falls Mini-Festival auction in 395AV.
