Prayer parchments have holy prayers written on them. Clerics read them to raise devotion and to learn Theurgy and scholarship.
Usage
- UNROLL PARCHMENT: Unrolls a parchment so that it can be read.
- READ PARCHMENT: Reads the prayer quietly to yourself to raise devotion.
- ROLL PARCHMENT: Rolls up the parchment so that it can be stowed.
Storage
There are two types of storage containers that are associated with prayer parchments, prayer tomes and specialty containers.
Prayer Tomes
Prayer tomes behave like a compendium for anatomy charts. You put prayer parchments in them, but the parchment cannot be removed. The trade-off is that the parchments in the tome don't increase the tome's weight and don't contribute to your item count.

- KISS: This is a ritual to raise devotion by showing humility by kissing the tome.
- TURN TOME TO PAGE #: Turns to a specific page in the tome of the prayer to read.
- READ: Lists the pages and names of the prayers in the tome. Or, if you've turned to a specific page, then reads that prayer quietly to yourself and to learn Theurgy and scholarship.
- INVOKE: This is a ritual to raise devotion by preaching the prayer to other people in the room.
