Tongs are a crafting tool used in Blacksmithing, Weaponsmithing, and Armorsmithing.
See Crafting Tools for details.
Creation and Repair
Tongs can be created using forging techniques that fall under the Blacksmithing discipline.
Likewise, their repair falls under the same skills, with standard processes for metal tool repair.
Templates
Tongs use material thermal resistance to derive their effectiveness.

Crafting Notes
- Covellite will make great tongs (outperformed only by rare metals Audrualm or Icesteel).
- Metals such as covellite must be "weighted" to 3.0 density before it can be used in Forging. The proper density can be achieved with mixes of 80% covellite/20% copper or 70% covellite/30% bronze.
