Talk:Tongs
Using 68% covellite, 32% silver, I made some curved tongs and got this:
You analyze every minute detail of the curved tongs and smile knowingly to yourself.
This appears to be a crafting tool and they are in pristine condition.
These tongs are used to hold and move heated metal around while forging.
The workmanship is masterfully-crafted.
Assessing the tongs's durability, you determine they are somewhat unsound against damage.
About 10 volume of metal was used in this item's construction.
This tool appears to be rather effective at increasing crafting speed.
You find it impossible to identify who crafted this item.
That's better than the chart claims can be achieved with curved tongs.--Antendren 06:28, 9 July 2011 (UTC)
I found the same to be true with flat-bladed with a 75% covallite, 25% nickel mix. (for 3 density)
You analyze every aspect of the flat-bladed tongs and nod as your understanding grows.
This appears to be a crafting tool and they are in pristine condition.
These tongs are used to hold and move heated metal around while forging.
The workmanship is masterfully-crafted.
Assessing the tongs's durability, you determine they are appreciably susceptible to damage.
About 10 volume of metal was used in this item's construction.
This tool appears to be not very effective at increasing crafting speed.
You find it impossible to identify who crafted this item.
At the speed cap, except much better durability. It's the best I can manage, but I have to assume covallite weighted to sit at 3 density would be speed cap. --Kolusius 00:47, 7 June 2012 (UTC)
