Would we also want it to show up on the various Item pages as well? So right now, if something is tagged for Housing, up in Special Properties we see "This item is designed to be used in or on player houses.". Would we want a 2nd line amended to the end of the current line based off the chosen type? For example, if something was a Wall Hanging, the Special Properties would then read: "This item is designed to be used in or on player houses. This can be used in the <nowiki>[[Wall Hanging]]</nowiki> slot."<br> |

== Morph item expansion == |

Earlier today I added a "morph item" option for Item Properties. Right now, it'll just put all these items into the top level of [[:Category:Morph items]], which is as expected. But, there are sub-categories already partially populated for if it is a color morph, location morph, etc. I'd like to add a new multi-choice list to the form, similar to the "Hides" field we have, that will offer options that then further filter those Morph items into the correct sub-categories too. I am reluctant though to move things around too much just as folks are getting used to the additions & layout changes from the past year or two.<br> |

So I figured I'd put a note here 1st to see if there are any major objections to some tinkering. My thoughts are to move the "Rarity" dropdown to under the "Appraisal Value", move the "Metal" dropdown to where "Rarity" currently is, and then put the new field (prob. named something like "Morphs") where "Metal" currently is under "Hides". - Figured you guys would like this. It's got some more tweaking to go, and I'm moving tomorrow, so probably won't be until ... Tuesday or so when we get our cable setup. :) Post here if there's anything missing (I haven't added all the worn item locations yet).--Naeya (talk) 11:12, 30 May 2008 (CDT)

Housing Type dropdown
I just got done adding a drop-down list for the Housing Type (way at the bottom right of the form), and populated it with the major groups found off HOME HELP 5. Obviously, that can be added to.
I am thinking about where that info will be best presented. I think once more items have been filled in/updated with the various types, the Homes#Furniture list can be filled out with links to each type, ex. Homes/Furniture/Floors.
This can be used in the [[Wall Hanging]] slot."

Morph item expansion
Earlier today I added a "morph item" option for Item Properties. Right now, it'll just put all these items into the top level of Category:Morph items, which is as expected. But, there are sub-categories already partially populated for if it is a color morph, location morph, etc. I'd like to add a new multi-choice list to the form, similar to the "Hides" field we have, that will offer options that then further filter those Morph items into the correct sub-categories too. I am reluctant though to move things around too much just as folks are getting used to the additions & layout changes from the past year or two.
