Modern Necromancer Timeline

DATE	EVENTS
397 AV	After spending several years rampaging throughout Kermoria, the necromancer, Lyras the Devourer, is slain due to a joint effort by the Philosophers of the Knife and other guilds. A necromantic alchemical solution devised by Zamidren Book was instrumental in weakening her connection to the Hunger and enabled her to be defeated.
422 AV	With the aid of the necromancers Zehira, Xzean, Vrallux, Talinel, and Nahvani, the Lichlord Jeihrem attacks the Crossing and the Philosophers of the Knife. He is held off by Zamidren and several other Philosophers.
426 AV	The process to create risen is shared by Zamidren Book to Philosophers and Lichlord Jeihrem to his followers.
426 AV	Adventurers led by the Anduwen Watch embark on a surgical strike against the Fortress of the demon Maelshyve. During the attack, one of Her vessels, Ciriasa, is discovered mid-transformation and slain using a necromantic alchemical solution supplied by the Philosopher of the Knife, Osven
430 AV	First known meeting with the Demonologist Sivroch, Mysteriarch of the Profane Aegis. She instructs those that follow the Lichlord Jeihrem on how to seek out the demonic.
430 AV	Led by the Philosopher, Osven, a large party of adventurers used the device known as the Philosopher's Knot on the demon Maelshyve, causing Her "death". In an effort to ensure it's success, Osven sacrificed his own life to empower the device. His soul is still trapped within it.
433 AV	The Mysteriarch Sivroch and a small group of necromancers loyal to the Lichlord Jeihrem repel a party of scouts sent to Basalt Isle to gather information for House Moglin of Ratha.
435 AV	Previously known as a disfigured scholar, the necromancer Zauldin attains Redemption with the Immortals and shares some of the secrets with those who would also pursue it.
435 AV	Having grown tired of constant moderation of ideology, Guildleaders limit access to halls to those that closely align with their own practices.
435 AV	A dissection and examination of the last known vessel of Maelshyve was conducted by the necromancers Agalea, Lilustra, Nefis, and Zehira. During the procedure, Nefis performed an untested rite which caused a manifestation of the demon known as the Manifold.
437 AV	This was the year that began the major Basalt Isle Raid events. A summary of the buildup can be found here. In an effort to stop aggression towards Basalt Isle by House Moglin and its allies, the necromancer Nefis issues an ultimatum to turn over Commodore Khoheke Moglin, the individual who has been leading the efforts. The Rathans do not surrender and necromancer forces attack the city, setting fires to buildings and fields, while a swarm of banyakea descended to attack. During this same year, House Moglin supporters tried to rescue those living individuals who resided in Jeihrem's Barrow and wished to be free of the Lichlord. Few made it out alive.
438 AV	The same group of necromancers continued their assault on Ratha by poisoning the fresh water sources around Ratha with ichor spilled from risen alongside more banyakea attacks.
438 AV	The pirate Srinoja, who had allied with Lord Jeihrem's forces against the Rathans, falls while attempting to slay Admiral Khoheke during a naval battle. Her body is recovered by the Mysteriarch and repurposed as a vessel of the demon known as the Dream Eater.
439 AV	The conclusion of the Basalt Isle Raid Event. Several Philosophers of the Knife and Redeemed rallied to the side of House Moglin while the followers of the demonic rallied to the Lichlord Jeihrem and the Mysteriarch Sivroch.
